INSTALLATION
1. Turn off Ignition.
2. Keep your key fob (if applicable) at least 35 ft. (10m) away from your Fortwo. This prevents your car from using power to transmit signals to your proximity key fob sensor.
3. Leave your driver’s door open for 15 minutes to allow your ECU to shut down completely.
4. Locate and disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug.
5. Plug in your Pedal Commander in line with your accelerator pedal assembly plug until you hear a “click.”
6. Make sure the cables are tucked in place so they do not interfere with your driving experience.
7. Place and mount the Pedal Commander to your desired location using the velcro and mounting bracket that's included in the box.
IMPORTANT
To avoid receiving check engine lights or other issues, it is important that you follow these instructions properly. Also, please ensure that you hear a “click” sound while connecting the plugs, as this signifies a secure connection.

I purchased it for my 2013 smart for two and well if you put it to the highest setting it’s too much the smart car. It just feels normal like I didn’t have it so I will uninstall it from the car. I wouldn’t get it if I went back in time

Literally a game changer for our 2014 Smart. Took one wrench to take the accelerator peddle loose from the floor, and two different star sockets to remove the bottom of the dash just right in front of the cup holder. The gave a great safe place for the extra cable, routed around and then stuck on the plastic in front of the gear shift but on the parented side. Nice and out of the way. Once you find your setting, you don’t need to adjust it. All that LAG when pulling into traffic is GONE! So zippy now. And I feel SO much safer in this little toy!

This is no joke, it real changed what power ur car has been hiding , makes my mini Cooper feel slow the response on your acceleration is incredible, it wakes up the cat to a lion and acceleration changes gears quicker response on the dime and still you can make it faster and faster on response I approve this product it says everything it does easy to install there is no substitute for sure five star all the way well worth the money
