They are fully functional for the purpose they were needed for. Our dog on Lasix has been leaking a bit in the house, these are high quality with strong Velcro fastening, he doesn't like them but they work. Sometimes they will get pushed off but this rarely happens,

Best belly bands ever. They fit true to size. Peanut is 4 lbs and 12 years old and has accidents. His son is 10 months old recently was neutered. So we use them to keep him from licking himself and to stop sexual behavior before it becomes a habit. They've been washed so many times and are great. Ive bought 6 different brands over the past 20 years. Also you need to buy 100 count wicked pups Pad and line them. Yall need to start advertising together Best ever highly recommend

These work wonderfully for my older, accident-prone dog. I just ordered more so that I always have a clean & dry belly band on hand. The whole interior is the absorbent part, unlike other belly bands/male diapers that have a small "pad" in the middle, which I found were easy to leak. Great product!

It covers the wee wee part really well but you need extra strengthe in your hands (which I don't have) to pull the velcro parts apart. It stays on really well and the dog doesn't mind it. Good absorption.

The quality is top notch. Well made, absorbent and secure belly bands. For us they ran small, medium just barely fit our 23 lb terrier(not overweight). For the medium, we are on outer edge of Velcro where band is secured, so we ordered large. We are using both sets but really need a size between a medium and a large for the perfect fit. There is quite a big difference between the medium and large but we appreciate the quality we kept both. Be sure and feel where band where meets skin when secured to make sure they aren’t too tight and leaving a mark on skin of you are between sizes. Check often until you find the perfect fit for your dog because at first it can be trial and error. We found our dog can wear his on the looser side of snug and he is a marking champion. The only problem is when our other large dog pulls them off during rambunctious play.

I' read the complaints on this product and bought some anyway, and now with 10 months experience using them (the same ones, not replacements), here's the deal. I have an assortment of 7 bands, and my dog requires 2-3 bands per day, so there's always more dry bands available in the house. I've been using these bands for 10 months now, and at 2.5 bands per day, it means each band has been washed 107 times by my math. So they are very durable and the velcro is still very sticky. When washing, never put cotton fabric in the same wash load because the velcro will become clogged with cotton lint, requiring a tedious cleaning with a toothbrush. I'd recommend washing the bands alone in a washer. Also make sure the band is velcro'd to itself to make a ring, or loop to minimize the contact the velcro has with other items in your washer, and be sure the band is inside out so the absorbent layer is on the outside so it gets maximum exposure to the washer's agitator. That being said, always buy one size larger than the measurements indicate. These bands come smaller than you expect from the measurements. I have a 110lb Rhodesian Ridgeback who is incontinent and has lost the use of his hind legs. He requires the XL size, the largest this brand makes, so if you have a dog even larger than mine, it's doubtful they'll fit him, and if you squeeze it on, he'll probably get a burn/rash so this brand of band is not workable for you. I found if I kept the band on him during the day, it would hold urine up against his skin making rashes and urinary tract infections much more frequent. So I don't use them as "baby diapers" during the day, but they are a godsend to use when I have to pick up his hind quarters with the sling to transfer him somewhere and I don't want him dribbling down the hallway. Once he's in the tub or the truck or on the porch, I take the band off so his skin can breathe, and always ensure I have several large absorbent pads under him (PoochPad Original Reusable Potty Pad, XX-Large (48x48 inches), White (PP48481) work fantastic!!) to keep the floor clean. As for absorbency, if you leave the diaper on long enough, it will hold one heck of a lot of urine. I measured 2 cups of water into a band and it did not leak (that means the band will hold 225% of its own weight in water) - not recommended, but they sure are absorbent. When you remove a band, hold it with both ends held upward and the center part draping downward, with the absorbent side facing up, otherwise you'll get a slow drip if you carry it by one end and the other end is hanging down. So it's a bit of an art form using these bands, but I can't imagine health care of my dog without them.

I have an intact beagle that will pee on everything! We tried everything to keep our pee ninja from peeing inside. If you have a dog like mine, these are worth every penny. I was hesitant at first, but they are leak proof, incredibly absorbent, and machine washable and can be put in the dryer. The only drawback is that if you don’t change them out twice a day they can really stink with a lingering musky order. We do take him outside, many times a day and he has no problem peeing outside, but unfortunately he is a marker and he is trying to pee inside constantly. Even with his marking, these things will stink up very quickly. If you have a dog like mine, I would say buy several of these, change them out frequently, and enjoy your pee free floors, furniture, and peace of mind. These are a godsend. I wish I had bought these years ago. As someone who probably has an extreme case of a dog peeing on everything, I cannot recommend these enough. They are not a full on solution, but they are a huge huge help.5 stars, just because I haven’t had to clean up pee in weeks. This must be what the good life feels like.

These belly bands are sturdy, soft, and appear to be well made. I like that the size is adjustable because of the large velcro area. I think I may have gotten a size too big. I measured where I thought the picture showed, but I have to close them as tightly as possible and they seem kind of bulky on my dachshund. He is an odd shape, though, because of his atrophied muscles on his back end. I still use poise pads with them, but they seem quite absorbent and for a dog who maybe has leakage problems rather than one who is completely incontinent, the band itself would probably be enough.
