This is an interesting choice on assembly. First, there are no instructions. When you open all the pieces , it looks like too many. There are three layers on each side which need to be fastened with screws. There is lots of plastic protecting to remove too. The hardware and tiny tool to do it are included.The second problem is the metal hanging attachments are far too short. Even including four individual pieces of that size would be better.After it’s assembled, the swing is sturdy and holds together well. You can clean it together or take it apart if you choose. The mirrors are more reflective pieces so they aren’t truly clear.Overall it’s cute, but not perfect. To use it like it is, you will need smaller birds. Making the hanging straps longer opens up options. It’s a sweet swing and the bars are sanded smooth for little feet.
