Park Tool FFS-2 Bicycle Frame and Fork Straightener

The Park Tool Frame, Fork and Tube Straightener is a versatile tool for making adjustments to damaged or misaligned bicycle frames and forks. The open hook design enables it to straighten not only frames and forks, but also cranks and handlebars. Vinyl coating on the hook and on the fulcrum pad protects painted surfaces. Constructed from 29.5" (75cm) of reinforced steel for maximum leverage. The adjustable hook accommodates a fork or tube up to 1¾" (44mm) in diameter and features over 8" (20.3 cm) of sliding travel adjustment to get the tool in the perfect position. NOTE: The FFS-2 is intended for steel frames, forks, and components only. Use with other materials such as aluminum or carbon fiber will cause the material to weaken or fail. Use caution and discernment when using the FFS-2 in any application.

Besides frame straightening, you can also attach to crank arms to increase leverage when removing pedals and DUB crank bolts.

Directing a bend on motorcycle handlebars to a very specific section of bar is much easier with this tool. Yes, a pipe over the end works but it doesn't always bend in the proper section of bar.

I repair lots of bikes and many bikes end up with bent forks. This is the ideal tool when Armstrong-strength won't work. Now comes the rub. It works very well but you will have to improvise in most cases. I used two "V" slotted 2 x 4's about 8" long, put the fork in the slot, clamped in a vice, and used the bender to straighten the folk. It makes short work of a bent fork but it has to be done right. I dimpled two forks by using protective wrap on one fork and clamping into the vice.

I so needed this tool..I was contemplating fabricating up s as something until I came across this tool. It was more than I wanted to pay but in the end it was worth it. Requires a little muscle but you can always put a cheater bar over the handle to help.

I had.a titanium sidestand for my RC51 and a friend sat on the bike while on the stand. Was only designed to support the bikes weight. Bent the stand to where it was not stable anymore. I used the Park Tool straightener and had the stand straight in minutes. The design allows you to place the end of the bar against the apex of the bend and then move the hook to best leverage point.Basically tool paid for its self first time I used it. I plan to use it to straighten some old handle bars as well and have no doubt It will work great.

High quality tool. It is large, over 24 inches long. But it works like a glorified crow bar with teeth. A must have if you are fixing up old bicycles.

If you never use it in your shop it will sure as h!@# scare off any thiefs by just hanging on the wall lol. I used it for straightening handle bars, seat posts, and one frame that was slightly out of whack. I really do not suggest anyone use this tool if you do not know what you are doing!!! VERY heavy duty and works well.
