Habe damit schon mehrere Achsen eingespannt. Ist schonend zum Gewinde. Alle Muttern lassen sich problemlos wieder aufdrehen.

This aluminum jaw axle vise is just the ticket for holding the axle of a bicycle wheel while adjusting cone bearings. Using this vise to hold the axle eliminates the need to really crank down one side of the bearings to create a way to keep the axle from spinning, and that takes 3 hands! I can't imagine working on cone bearings in wheels without this.

I don't know why I never got around to buying one of these until now. It makes servicing my hubs so much easier, and allowed me to service a coaster brake hub for the very first time.

As for most Park tools, this axle vise is durable, precision, and made right. I've been using the same Park axle vise since 1980. It will probably work another 20 years. This new purchase was for another tool box.An axle vise makes working on wheel hubs much easier.

Great for holding the wheel in place while you remove freewheels or disassemble to swap bearings.

Great tool. Wish I would have purchased one of these years ago. It works great and doesn't scar the axle threads at all. Holds it in place while you work on the bearings, cones, washers, nuts, etc. Awesome tool. Buy it and put it to use.

As usual Park tool quality. No complaints, but if you only wok on your bike occasionally 2 small blocks of wood would work the same

The axle vise does a good job of holding the wheel for you in a convenient position while you service the hub, without damaging axle threads. Since the wheel is held horizontally, the loose ball bearings will stay in place vs falling out onto the floor.

Simple design, and works as advertised. A bit expensive for what it is, but you pay for their expertise. I buy mostly Park tools for this reason.
