They clip but don't whistle...not even a little. I can't hear it, my dog cant hear it, nobody can. I got a bunch of them for a cub scout project and none of them whistle.

The OEM's package (ziplock bag) had a knife cut, resulting in 1 buckle missing.Amazon's packaging was intact.

The headline pretty much says it all. Kids love the whistle in their paracord bracelet. Parents of these children, have sarcastically, thanked me for providing their child with such a wonderful bracelet. The high pitched whistle, much louder and higher than a normal whistle, truly gets under parents skin. If you are looking to annoy some people, this is the product for you.Durability-wise, great product, holds up perfectly, works as expected.

The clip portion is nice, but the whistle does not work, I had one or two in the package that would whistle if I blew hard enough, but even then it was a weak sound.

not sure I would ever use the whistle. I needed the size to replace a broken buckle on a water pack.
