This is ultimately a good matte/ paper feel screen protector once properly installed. Looks and feels great on my new Surface Laptop Studio 2. Having done many, many of these types of screen protectors on iPhones and iPads, this is among the most difficult I’ve done. The main challenge seems to be the static buildup on the film as you are placing it, making it attract dust as you are trying to remove it. To combat this, I started with a very clean screen and work area, and misted water on the film as I was removing dust. Work from the inside toward the edge lifting one corner at a time until one quadrant is dust and bubble free. I also used a much larger dust removal sticker I had from a previous screen protector which helped a lot.

I was skeptical about this product but there weren't many alternatives for my application. After installing (2 min and bubble free) the product is AWESOME!! IT FEELS JUST LIKE WRITING ON A SKETCH PAD! I would definitely buy this again.

Since 2 came in the pack I put the first one on and left for a few days. Sometimes bubbles go away. They never did so I assumed maybe a piece of dust got under it. I remove it and put on the 2nd one and it’s doing the same thing. I absolutely hate the look of bubble on my screen. I’m very disappointed.

The package was literally rolled and pushed into the mailbox. Basically, the package was folded. Thought, may be the seller/manufacturer is so confident that it won't break on folding. Opened the package, the protectors looked bent at one spot. Still thought it may smooth out and applied on to the screen. No, it did not smooth out and leaves a bump on the screen. I could use only one of the two shipped. Since I opened and tried applying one on to the screen, I can't ship it back for refund or replacement as it requires shipping back in original packaging and I had the films removed.Very disappointed with the way it was shipped. It was shipped in a letter shipping envelope with no protection. This price deserves better protective packaging and shipping. So, buy with this risk in mind.Hope the seller finds this as an opportunity to learn from this feedback. I actually would say, seller should send replacement with this proof of damaged material received. Not sure how responsible the seller is. This would be a best test. I will come back and add details if I hear back from the seller.I like the feel of it. and feels like paper on touch. I have not tried writing on it though.So, if you are buying it, know that you have above mentioned risks. I will buy it only if this seller confirms shipping them with better protective packaging and not on something like you see in the pictures above.

Pros:Installation was pretty normal for a screen protector. I could still use my Studio really well, the pen was responsive. As a screen protector it seemed like it would do a great job.Cons:It turned the screen blue! The difference was incredibly noticeable. I use my Surface Studio for graphics that are going to be displayed or printed, and I need to see the colors well, so I can't use this protector.Also, I bought it for the paperlike feel. I can't feel a difference at all. It works just as well with the screen protector on, but it doesn't change it at all.

Installed this paper-like screen protector for my surface laptop studio today. Took me a lot of time to find this paper-like screen protector from Amazon and read all reviews of it. The overall rating of this paper-like screen protector is rather poor. I had a more expensive glass screen protector for my surface studio. Although the screen protector is perfect, it is very unfortable to write on the surface studio due to the lack of friction. I am a teacher and need to use surface studio for in-class teaching. I took a chance to get this paper-like screen protector. Installation was rather straightforword and you just need to follow the instructions. I managed to get most of air bubbles out excepts a few small ones not in the center of the screen. The only problem of this screen protector is its poor adhesion at the corners. No matter what I tried, the bottom corner sections of the screen protector just do not adhese to the screen. I guess that I have live this them as comfortable writing is more important.

This was a game changer! I’m in education and have to take a lot of notes during observations. This has been SO helpful! Feels much more comfortable than writing on glass. When it gets “worn”, just wipe with water and it’s as good as new! Love it!

I'm usually super great with installing screen protectors but I think since this is a bigger screen, the installation is a bit more difficult and you can't avoid air bubbles in the process. I found then when I was done removing air bubbles and installing the screen protector when I went to remove the plastic piece on top, it lifted the actual screen protector and caused dust and air bubbles to come under it. I ended up having to throw away the first one and install the second one. Knowing that it doesn't stick very well if you hold the corner down and THEN peel the plastic piece back, it stays a lot better and you can save yourself some trouble! (and a waste of one of the screen protectors...)Writing is 10x easier and the anti-glare is super great! Just like those iPad screen protectors I have seen. So if you don't mind unavoidable small air bubbles, this is super great! I feel like a paper-feel screen protector for this kind of laptop is hard to find and this one is a super great find! The fit is pretty good too but mine is lifting on one of the bottom corners and won't stick. I'm definitely buying again now that I know how I can make installation better :)I put a photo of it directly in front of a window and the camera doesn't do it justice but the anti-glare is great !
