Air Suspension Strut
Air Suspension Strut, sometimes it is also called an Air Spring, Air Shock, Bellows or Shock Absorber. A conventional strut uses a steel coil spring, but an air strut employs an air spring bag or a bellow. This makes the ride more comfortable and gives the driver more control of the ride height.
The shock absorber is mainly used to suppress the shock when the spring rebounds after shock absorption and the impact from the road surface. When passing through uneven road, although the shock-absorbing spring can filter the vibration of the road, the spring itself will reciprocate, and the shock absorber is used to suppress this spring jump.
Professional installation is recommended, pay attention to gasket stitching, otherwise it will leak air.

My Husband purchased this part and had it put on the car and the mechanic calls us to say that the part is no good and it's not working properly. Now I am stuck with a defected part on my car and can't get a replacement so that I can return the part. I will never order another part from here!

Dealer wants to charge an extreme amount of money for air strut replacement, so I found these aftermarket struts for a great price. The description seems to spell out everything for you. The reviews made me nervous so I also bought the protection plan. After following up with the seller, Aiken, they advised a warranty is not provided. So anybody reading this, make sure you purchase the protection plan. It’s extra, but if the struts are defective at least you got some coverage. I had them installed and everything seems to be working just fine. I’m definitely paying attention for the next couple months because of the bad reviews I’ve read, but for the money, I think this was a good option versus paying the dealer $4000 for struts and installation.

This product does not come with instructions, however if you've ever changed a strut before it shouldn't be a problem. I Ended up using a cut off wheel to remove the old air bag assembly. It's a very shallow vertical cut along the length of the old air bag assembly. Maybe a 1/16th of an inch deep. Be sure to remove cap and nut from the top first. Once cut it comes of pretty easy. Pay attention to the order the four rubber seals that come off. Reassembly is a breeze, rubber seals, then air bag assembly, screw the nut back on and finally the cap. All done. Use a impact wrench to remove the nut from the top.I'm sure the assembly can be removed without cutting as well, cutting was just way quicker.I've driven about two thousand miles since installation with zero issues. Car is now level and handles perfectly. Because I only changed the airbag, I did not have program anything.

Amazing value compared to a dealer part and half the cost of e remanufacturd part. Has ben been on my car for several months an no issues. Fortunately, the ride height matched the other shock so no reprogramming was required.

This shocks is like the identical thing on my BMW 750Li but I didn't use it because apparently the valve on my shocks that was leaking was leaking but I'm gonna tell you it's a good product solid looks the same way same writing everything is the same thing on it
