I planted these in potting soil just as directions stated . I used 12 smaller pots , I have lightly watered these everyday. I place them in the sun each day and bring them undercover at night so the weather doesn’t destroy them. I’m on day 8 without one seedling sprouting. I will try a few more days and if nothing happens I will throw them out and consider it a lesson learned.

Original package was lost in the mail. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent a replacement. Good germination after just a few days. Good quality seed.

So excited to see these grow, I hope they can live in my yard! We planted a few in small starter pots and half of them are popping up so far. They are slow to come up.

Outsidepride is legit. Germination of Miscanthus seeds took a very long time, almost over a month. Some seeds have a natural barrier that keeps them from germinating all at once. Once the barrier is washed away the seeds will germinate. The Miscanthus grass has taken all summer to grow about a foot tall and there are some roots sticking out the bottom of the 5" pots. Lots of patience is key.

received on time, product mostly as described & expected; but not 1000 seeds... yes, i opened the lil' package and actually counted; +/- 700 seeds, despite stating 1000 on package... so, less than very pleased... though, as a sealed packet, i believe it to be more the error on the manufacturer/packager, rather than the seller... but, the seller is the last QC check and my supplier, so 3, rather than 5 stars for the short. will likely be ordering another pack to cover the areas we intended to seed... of course, the real performance eval is in the spring and summer! it is october in michigan and we are sowing in seeds soon and looking forward to the result :-)

I was hesitant to purchase from Outside Pride after reading several negative reviews. But I figured that the cost of the seeds was not too much, so I took the risk. I ordered the 500 seed packet and they came in a couple weeks. I planted them in two 72 pellet Jiffy trays under fluorescent lights, and nearly all have sprouted. I'm very happy with the results but I don't think there were 500 seeds in the packet. It was close enough!
