It is well put together, and it is light enough for me to carry out to the beach. It pops open, just like it says and is large. To do whatever you want, lay down or sit great for the beach. Yet at the tip, it is hard to pull and the plastic may pop off. I don't know how durable it will be over time. But it can always super glue the top to get it too, work in the future.

This thing is incredible. We went to the beach with our 6 month old so shade and ease of use were top of mind. This was perfect! Set up was almost instant and it provides a great place for us to hang out in the shade and with ample room for baby to roll and crawl. Can’t imagine going to the beach without this!

I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of this product. My husband is 6’6” and he, I and our son were all able to fit underneath along with our bags/snacks. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish the stakes were longer - they were pretty much useless. That being said, the fillable sand pockets work great! Quick setup and pull down - I’m talking less than a minute.

It’s not a compact item, when folded down it’s still 5 ft long. It does have a carry bag to make it easy to travel with. To open was very easy. Laid it flat lifted it up and pulled the rope and it popped right open. On a windy day have a friend ready to help put the stakes in.I did find we had to open the internal windows to allow airflow, or it was going to blow away. Would be a nice feature to add a few little wind holes for future. The floor laid flat and allowed a lot of room to store items and gave just the right amount of shade at the beach. At time of purchase it was around $120. I think this is top dollar for this item.Putting it down was a little trickier. You had to push the button in to collapse it. When it collapsed, it didn’t fold up as nice when to fit in the bag. But it did go all the way in after a little bit of wrestling. The material quality and stitching is good. It seems sturdy. On super windy days. You’ll want to take care like any beach cover you would. It was wide enough for two beach chairs and it still allowed some space to put our cooler in between. Nice wide area to set towels down..If it was a bit smaller when folded down I would love it even more but overall good beach cover.

First of all it does provide shade okay. But setting it up is not very easy especially if there is a breeze on the beach which they're almost always is. So after you do have it set up the way that some of the joints work does not allow the tent to stay up very well in the wind. Now I will say that the wind I put this up in was slightly stronger than my normal Beach wind, that said it probably wasn't over 15 mph. I would expect this to do better, cuz having it collapse on you while you're trying to take a beach nap is not very fun.

OutdoorMaster Pop Up Beach UmbrellaThis product blew my mind for multiple reasons:1) The installation process is a breeze, it takes literally less than 10 seconds to put in place, because it has the same mechanism as a regular umbrella, you only have to pull a cord and it opens up like magic2) It's big enough to fit up to 4 persons inside, without feeling cramped.3) The materials seem to be of good quality.4) It has some convenient bags to put your belongings (I feel like they thought of every little detail when designing this product)I use it to go to picnics with my girlfriend or friends, and it's not very heavy, so you can take it with you anywhere, the only problem is that it's a bit tall (like 1.50 m) and it would be nice if it was even more foldable.Overall, great product, I totally recommend it.

I ordered this "OutdoorMaster Pop Up Beach Umbrella, Portable Beach Tent Shelter, Beach Shade Sun Canopy" to take with us last week to Gulf Shores. As the subject line declares, both set-up and take-down were super easy. The manufacturer includes enough plastic stakes for each of the umbrella-tent's stake-down loops in addition to two more for the included guy-lines (which I didn't use). Also included are sewn-in pockets for sand to add weight to help with holding the tent in place - I didn't use those, either. The umbrella has at least one interior pocket in which I stowed its carrying case and the stakes bag. It has two mesh windows - one on each side, with toggle closures and another toggle to hold the rolled flap when you want the window kept open. Apologies for having failed to photograph the opening/closing mechanism on the back of the umbrella-tent. It's ingenious. When the tent's rolled up in its bag, it fits easily in the back seat of my Honda Accord sedan, thus it is no problem to carry along on a road-trip.Five Star item. This product is EXCELLENT if you intend, as we did, to lay around on beach towels. However, if you intend to use beach chairs, they will likely disarrange and perhaps tear the included mat. I unhesitatingly recommend this product for purchase and would have spent money to buy it.

The OutdoorMaster Pop Up Beach Umbrella is lightweight, portable, easy to set up and roomy enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. It comes in a convenient carrying bag. It took less than 5 minutes to set up. This umbrella is very well designed and thought out. It has 2 storage pockets, 2 air vents, pockets to hold sand for stability, sewn in loops with 9 stakes and a large attached beach mat that eliminates the need to bring a separate beach towel. It is very spacious, I was surprised at how large and roomy it is. And it provides a large area of shade and protection from the wind.I would recommend using the included stakes to secure it from the wind when using it on the beach. The stakes are quick and easy to install. There are also bags sewn in around the outside that can be filled with sand from the beach for added weight against the wind and the 2 air vents can be opened to allow the wind to pass through instead of blowing against the umbrella. This umbrella is well made and a pleasure to use, set up and take down. Everything easily fits back into the carrying bag. The protection it gives from the elements makes a day at the beach even more enjoyable especially if you have kids. I highly recommend it.

This is great for the beach and grass. I don't like being tanned so this is a great addition to our trips. There's a visible anti-UV coat underneath the umbrella part. It provides a good amount of shade even when it's open towards the sun as long as the sun is high (late morning early afternoon). It does move around when there's a breeze which is understandable given it's an umbrella, so the weights/stakes are almost a must if you want to use it for a while. I had it open on the grass in my yard and didn't use the weights and stakes, so I had to constantly pull at the edges to reshape it. If there's wind and no one sitting on it near the corners, I'm almost certain it'll blow over. There are ropes and stakes included, and pouches along the bottom for your own sand or water bags to weigh it down. It's like a little half-tent. There are even two windows that allow air flow. Since it's open, bugs do have free access. To close it, you push the top of the umbrella until it pops again. Initially, the top cap of mine was not screwed in properly as the threads were partly covered by the fabric, and it would come off when I applied pressure. I had to make sure it was secured properly before I could push it. The included carrying bag is a bit tight and only opens at one end (rather than being zippered down the side) so it is a bit hard to fit the umbrella back in.Overall we find this to be super handy to throw into the car for outdoor trips and picnics.

Review for: "OutdoorMaster Pop Up Beach Umbrella, Portable Umbrella Shelter, Beach Shade Sun Canopy with UPF 50+ UV Protection, Extendable Floor with Carrying Bag - Blue Feathers"Colour Name: Blue FeathersThe beach umbrella comes in carrying bag that is about 57" (145 cm) in length and 6" (15 cm) in diameter. It comes with 9 stakes and 2 guy ropes in a small bag. Only 7 stakes are needed to hold down the shelter, 5 on the main part and 2 at the front. The instructions are on the inside of the carrying bag. It says to pull on the string on the inside to pop up the shelter, and then put the string in the Velcro. I was looking for the Velcro in the inside of the tent but it's actually on the outside. When taking the tent down, you press the white button from the outside of the tent, but be careful with your thumbs that they don't get sucked in as the mechanism collapses. There are two windows with closures, and two pockets on the bottom of the inside. On the outside there are 3 pockets that hold sand to help hold the shelter down. The width across the centre is about 94" (239 cm) and the height is about 59" (150 cm). The extended floor is about 83" (211 cm) from front to back, and 108" (274 cm) wide at the front. I'm 5'4 and can't stand up in the tent but can easily sit in a lawn chair and be shaded. The last paragraph in the description is incorrect. It says there are "three large mesh windows providing ventilation and a 360 degree view. Built-in zippered door offers privacy to change into dry clothes."It also says that "Overhead mesh pockets make it possible to store valuables". There are only two windows and two pockets along the floor, none above. There is no zippered door; the shelter is fully open. The beach umbrella opens and closes easily, and actually fits back in the carrying bag, but catches wind well so needs to be pegged down soon after opening. I am impressed with it and since I don't like the sun much, this will come in handy this summer!

1) Huge. This will fit 3-4 adults while hanging out in a field or on a beach with snacks.2) Provides shade and has 1 opening on each side. I think the openings are to allow a breeze to come through. There are probably other uses for the openings that I can't see right now.3) There are bags that you can fill with sand/rocks along with some pegs to keep the tent from flying away.4) The floor mat is very large and extends beyond the shade of the tent.5) Very easy to assemble and disassemble. Just pull on the centre point and the tent clicks together (when putting the tent up). To collapse the tent you just have to push on that centre point. One person can manage it alone.6) Relatively easy to put the tent back into the included carrying bag.7) Nice colour and design.I can definitely recommend this tent. It's also really nice for kids to use in your backyard.
