This filter set comes with a nice protective case that looks like jeans and leather. Three filters are in the set. One is a UV filter (also great to use as a lens protector). Another is a polarizer. And finally there is an ND8 filter. It reduced the light that gets through to the camera to 1/8 of the original. This will allow you to take shots with a wider aperture in bright light.

Great filters, high quality materials used. Comes with a nice case for them. Each filter does as is expected if it without discoloration or anything crazy.

This is a great starter kit as filters can easily cost this much and more for a SINGLE filter. Granted it's budget, but you really don't see a huge difference. If you want reflections gone and deeper skies while protecting your lens, you're gucci. Circular Polarizers, even on the budget end, can cost about as much as the full kit, so it's a nice inclusion. You're locked with an ND8 filter vs, a variable ND, but only video people will be bothered by that, if you're photo only, you probably won't care. The case is nice as I hate carrying around 5 bland plastic cases that fall apart, so it's good to have 1 compact pouch as well that won't crack.

I admit it – I was a filter snob – only buying the expensive name brand filters. But these seem to be just as good. Beautifully finished, even the printing on the filter ring is precise and clear. The filters are definitely low profile for use on wide angle lenses. Threading is smooth and precise, going on and off my Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 easily. The case is very well made as well with soft material to cradle the filters. As far as far as utility of the filter set, the UV to me is mainly for protecting the front lens element as digital cameras don't really require a UV filter. The ND8 filter reduces exposure by 3 stops allowing slower shutter speeds for blur effects. The polarizer is the star of the lot – polarizing filter effects cannot be simulated in post unlike almost all other filters, even cross screen. Overall this set a great value.

Whenever I test filters I look at both the image and the threads. Many inexpensive filters have color shift in the corners and/or the threads get stuck and area pain to attach/remove. I had neither issue with these filters even using step-up rings. The included CPL filter passed the water and car window/body test to knock down the highlight a bit or allow an external camera to capture an internal subject. The carrying case was a nice added bonus and the quality is the equivalent of ones I've paid $15 for.
