step 1: Put the hook side up
step 2: Put the top hole of the needle in to the hook
step 3: Hang the sewing threads on the hook
step 4: Pull the needle out of the hook
both single and double threads can be pulled out of the top of the needle

step 1: Put the wire frame into the top hole of the needle
step 2: Put the sewing threads into the wire frame
step 3: Pull the needle out of the wire frame

Work great. Nothing fancy, but exactly what I need to simply help thread a needle with multiple threads while embroidering.

At my age, with poor eyesight and arthritis, this simple little tool will make tying on flies in the field a breeze.....especially in the breeze and with the small diameter lines we use. Don't know how I didn't discover this idea long ago.

Very helpful to thread a needle

The wire thread puller does pull out of the holder. This happens when you try to run the floss and the puller through the eye of the needle that is too small. It takes a couple of times to have it come out.

Unfortunately, my,eyes have come to the point where threading a needle is next to impossible. I remember my Mother using these years ago and said: I guess my time has come. This makes threading a needle easy. Even if your eye site is good, everyone should have a package of these in their sewing kit.

These needle threaders are sturdy! I've been using the same one repeatedly numerous times a day (for embroidery) for several weeks. No sign of it giving up. I am threading two strands of floss at a time and it handles it just fine.
