This folder is surprisingly heavy. It's well built, and the individual folders are solid. Only reason I am rating 4-star is because the individual folders are 1 sided, meaning you can't put sheets of music back-to-back in this one. Individual folders are clear plastic in front, and black plastic in back. Ultimately it's better protection from weather, but you only have room for half the amount of music sheets as you would with clear plastic individual folders.

This does what it's made to do. My son says the quality is good. He likes how sturdy it is. Recommend!

Very sturdy and nice overall but this also makes it fairly heavy. This would be a good for guitar/piano music that you want to be fairly mobile. We couldn't attach it to a lyre for marching band very well as it didn't have clips/other to make it stay in-place. The heaviness/quality also added to it not being very secure in the lyre.

One side is solid black, so you can only put music on one side. It's good that they provide 30 pages to hold all the music, but it becomes heavy and wiggles loose from the lyre. It is otherwise strong, so if you plan on just holding it or have something bigger to mount it on, it should work fine. As for me, I'm back to searching for double sided pages so I can carry half the weight.

It’s sooooo heavy. It won’t stay on a lyre and when it does it weighs it down so much that you can’t even read the music

Product was thick and bulky. Flip folder received was not same as product pictured. Pages were thick, tacky vinyl. Hard board was some re-purposed plastic. I ended up buying one much nicer and lighter from local music shop for half the price.
