I wanted to love this for on-the-go peace of mind, but the battery life and charging situation made it more hassle than it’s worth. It works, but it’s slow, and you really have to commit to keeping it charged and available. Cool concept — just not essential.

This pacifier sterilizer has been a game changer. It is very easy to use. Performance wise it only takes 59 seconds to sanitize the pacifier which is awesome. Great value for your money! Size wise it is perfect for portability. You can tie it on your diaper bag. This is a must have for parents.

I have to start by saying I can only assume the UV actually works. I haven’t bought a petri dish and a microscope to confirm this actually sterilizes anything. That said, UV light is well known to work and I’m assuming this does too.With that out of the way this is a great gadget. It lives in the diaper bag and we always keep a spare pacifier in it. One drops on the ground, you remove the clean one, give it to baby, and drop the dirty one in to be sterilized. People often go “what’s that?” We tell them and they say “we didn’t have anything like that when we had kids.” They say it like we spent $100 on this and it costs nowhere near that.

I love that it’s so portable and convenient. I usually clean the pacifier with water and soap or with pacifier wipes and then put it in the UV sterilizer. Only downside is that it needs to be on a flat surface since the nipple inside has to be in a certain position, so not really for a use on the go.

We use this to sterilize the baby’s pacifiers. We keep it attached to the diaper bag for easy use. So far my baby has been born 4 days and I’ve already have had to use it so much. We tried the test strips first and they came back clean, so I know that it does exactly what it’s suppose to do. I love the blinking feature to let you know when it’s done. You push the button to start it, it blinks for the amount of seconds to clean, and as it gets to to finishing it blinks faster and when it’s done the blinking stops. So you can take your eyes off of it if you need to and you will still know when it’s done. Love it. Perfect, compact and very very convenient

The product description never said this was chargeable. It gives you the option to plug into a wall or use batteries if you want to carry it around with you.That being said, I bought this to sanitize my mouth guards and my menstrual cups. When plugged in, the red light comes on meaning you’re ready to sanitize whatever will fit. Open the compartment and place the object inside. Press the light and it’ll start blinking. The light will continue to blink during the sterilization process. Once it stops, the process is complete and you can remove the object. It’ll turn itself off once you stop using it for a few minutes or just unplug it.I only gave it 4 stars because I think some of the legitimate concerns are valid. Because there is no on/off button, it’ll suck to have to remove and reinsert the batteries all the time, especially since this is geared towards pacifiers. They should make one with a built-in rechargeable battery to make it truly portable and have an on/off button to prolong the charge life.
