Previous answer said this LED will return to whatever brightness it was set to after power is restored. No matter what dim setting it is set to, when power is remotely removed and restored it returns to full brightness. This gives it limited use with a central control system. All that can be done remotely is turning it on full brightness or off. The local, inline dimmer is not of much use unless the unit stays on all the time.

After all these years, I finally have my nativity set lit up. Best little LED light ever and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Best "find" ever!
