Love how simple it is, but can’t load any songs to the device even though it’s in the right format; have attempted multiple formats that it shows to use and still says “error reading format”

For anyone not able to see songs they've added in the music section, you need to add them with the usb cord, not directly to the card. If you add songs directly to the card the songs will only show up in the files section.Otherwise it's ok. The headphones sound quality is pretty bad, but sounds fine with other headphones. The other main issue is the controls. They don't make any sense but you can figure it out.Otherwise it's a fine first mp3 player for kids.
