Excellent éclairage

Very bright light! I like how you can choose between motion detection or turn it on manually. Installation was easy and the magnet is strong. This makes it easy to remove in order to charge the light. Charging it is very easy and the light’s battery is long. The design does not show when it is under a kitchen counter. It’s also a great size to give brightness to a shadowy part of your kitchen cabinets. The value and quality for the cost is worth every dollar .

I ordered a single 20 LED (7.5 inch) light in November 2024 after a longer version (78 LED) from the same company. Both provide great (but soft) light in the kitchen at night for short periods (like taking a Brita pitcher out of the fridge). The 78 LED version (which no longer seems to be available) initially held a charge for quite a long time, but that is no longer the case after just 2 months, and it now takes several (longer than 8) hours to charge. I like the 20 LED light so much that I just ordered a 3-pack at a great savings. I will replace the 78 LED version with one of the 3-pack 20 LEDs, which means I'll never be in the dark (not even for a few hours) because I'll have 2 spare fully charged lights at the ready. I find the brighter overhead kitchen light (which is needed for meal prep and doing dishes) jarring at times -- especially in the middle of the night when just grabbing a quick drink of water, so these automatic LED lights are a blessing.

I purchased 2of these lights a little over 3 years ago for my kitchen pantry closet and my coat closet. They are still working beautifully. They are on the G setting and only need charged every month and a half or so. The shelves in the closets are metal so I only had to put the light under one of the shelves and it light up the whole closet. I bought the longer one. Have recommended it a few times. Good purchase

We got this light bar because it was longer than many others and for this closet we needed more light. I love that it recharges via USB and it is motion activated. One helpful hint that we did was to put DAP (putty) on the back of the metal strip on the light bar so that we could move it around until we got it exactly where we wanted it to be, and then marked the location with a pencil. I did this because I have used smaller light bars that operated the same way, and once you peel the covering off the adhesive and stick it on the metal strip it isn't going anywhere! It's nice that it's so secure but you want it to be in the right location. So, after deciding on the location I removed the DAP from the back of the metal bar and replaced it with the adhesive strip and affixed the light to the ceiling of the closet. It really lights up the whole closet! I highly recommend this product!

The packaging is very good along with good instructions. I am pleased with the brightness for my usage. The light is installed on the center of the door frame of a double wide closet. It lights up the entire area. It comes on automatically when the door is opened and shuts off shortly after it is closed. I didn't use the supplied metal strip for installation because there is a metal corner bead around the closet door frame and the magnet holds firmly on it. I'm confident that the metal strip would work well as long as the adhesive strip is applied properly.I really like the fact that the battery is rechargeable! I haven't used the light long enough to give a rating on how long the charge lasts, but I gave the battery a preliminary charge and it functioned as expected. I have other battery operated led lights in use and I like being able to install lighting without the need or expense for wiring.Good value for the money!I have now had this light installed in my closet for at least a month and only had to charge it once. I only charged it to make sure it was fully charged in case I needed it during a planned power outage. It charged quickly and continues to work well. I highly recommend this product!

Revised to 4 stars - I was skeptical, but after using it for a few days and seeing how it keeps its charge and the magnet is super strong - the light is also very bright so 4/5 -1 for misleading pictures.------I bought the lower wattage one to use in my aquarium cabinet, don't be fooled by the pics it really is not that long, only about 5" it works fine and price was good, just don't expect 2 to light your entire 6-foot closet.

I initially bought two of these lights, one for a stairway and one for a closet. I used the supplied sticky tape to install the metal piece the light attaches to magnetically which was very easy and fast to do. I first tried one of the lights on a stairway that is very dark at night. Although the lighting was great, the light went on even when the stairway was well lit. Because of this, the rechargeable battery would be depleted very quickly.I opted to use this light in a dark closet instead of the stairway as it lights only when the door is opened and it detects motion. For this purpose this light is great and it lights the closet well. I decided to return the second light and will find one that light with motion detection only when it is dark for the stairway. For the right purpose, this light is great, but it wouldn't work for my stairway. This light would work very well under kitchen cabinets if you a light that lights even in the daytime. The downside of this application is that the light lights for only 20 seconds and you don't have the option to change this other than turning the light to constantly on. Since the settings are on the side of the light where you can't see them when under a cabinet, this would be a pain in my opinion.I hope this review is helpful for you.

NEW UPDATE 1/3/23The free replacement that they sent me only worked for a short time, ran out juice entirely too quickly, then stopped working completely and would not take a charge again, just like the last one. This used to be a great light, but not any more. Look elsewhere and don't wast your time.UPDATE 12/22/22:Shortly after I posted the negative review below, I was contacted by the seller/manufacturer. They were very apologetic and offered to send a free replacement. I informed them that I had already returned the defective light to Amazon and that I had also already received a refund from Amazon. They responded and said they would still like to send me a free replacement and promised me that my experience with the last shipment was not representative of their normal quality. The free replacement showed up very quickly, and as soon as I opened the box I could see a difference. The metal strip was not stuck to the light housing with the double-sided tape like the last one, the switch felt much more solid, there was a charging cable included this time, and so far the light has been working perfectly for a couple of weeks. I don't know for sure, but maybe the last one I received might have been a return that Amazon accidentally shipped as a new one. Who knows? But I am once again very satisfied with this light, and I will purchase another if I ever need one in the future. If you are reading this review and you are undecided about purchasing, just do it! Knowing that they back their product with this kind of excellent customer service, you can't go wrong.This is my third time purchasing this light. The last two lights that I purchased were bought over the last couple of years. Those lights were great, and they are still going strong and I'm perfectly happy with them. But now, as many companies do, it seems like the manufacturer tried to improve a product that did not need improvement and they completely messed it up. First, there's no charging cable included as advertised, but that's not a big deal, we all have plenty of charging cables laying around. Second, the metal strip is actually attached to the light with some kind of sticky tape. You have to peel it off of the light so that you can fix the double-sided tape if you want to attach the metal strip to a wall somewhere, then you need to try to clean all of the sticky residue off of the light itself. Again, no big deal. But here's the main reason why I'm giving this a one-star rating. Like you will read in some other reviews, this light is garbage. On the past two lights that I purchased, when you plug in the charging cable, you will see one orange light that lights up on the bar to let you know it's charging. That did not happen with this version of the light. After charging the light for about 8 hours, it seemed to be working fine. I installed it in the closet where I intended to use it, the light work perfectly for about 4 hours, then it completely died. Tried charging it up again, did not help. Also, the light switch itself feels very flimsy. It does not click solidly into each position like the last two that I purchased. I tried charging it up one more time to no avail. Returning this light today, and I'll now be searching for another alternative, but I won't be buying this brand and this model any longer.
