This is a great product for those of us who have a collection of cd’s. It easily connects via Bluetooth to speakers. Includes a radio and you can play from your other devise. Takes up very little space. A very nice product .

Monodeal MD-706 CD playerI previously purchased another Monodeal product and was very pleased with it, so I decided to give this multifunctional CD player a try when it caught my eye. It seemed a bit pricey, but it has a lot to offer! I was looking for something for my bedroom and I liked the clean, compact, contemporary look of its oval design that measures approximately 7.5 X 5.5 inches. It is lightweight but yet solid and sturdy, very easy to operate, and comes with a detailed illustrated owner's manual in several languages (only 2.5-3 pages per each). READ THAT FIRST to discover its many features and for proper operation. Also included in addition to the CD player and the REMOTE CONTROL is a FREE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY registration card with email instructions (it is not covered if you don't mail it but save your card), USB-to-C cable, AC adapter, a rechargeable 3.7 volt 2000 mAH battery (inside the player), a 3.5 to 3.5 mm double ended auxiliary cable for phone/headphones etc., and a collapsible 11.5 inch antenna for FM reception that secures at the back of the player when not in use to prevent breakage. Below the antennae on the back of the player you will find a C-port, headphone/phone/speaker auxiliary port, USB port, and the on/off black master switch (that must be on FIRST to operate the device). Press the round button on top of the player to open it to insert your CD. I liked that it opens at 45 degrees rather than a 90 degree angle because there is less chance for lid damage/breakage, yet there is ample room to insert the CD safely. Close the lid until you hear it lock in place. Volume range is from 1-20. It is perfect for your car or any room in your home or on the patio, but not best for larger spaces like gyms, auditoriums, or large meeting halls UNLESS you connect to a larger speaker. The rechargeable mAH battery enables playback for up to 12 hours after charging 3-4 hours before use.All main control buttons are on the top right side: "Standby" (on/off), 5 Modes (CD/Bluetooth/USB/FM radio/Aux), Volume, and Equalizer is for best for full dimensional sound by music type: (Pop/Jazz/Rock/Classical/BBS). I always use the equalizer so my music isn't flat! Your selections are displayed in the front LCD window. You will also find buttons for BT/TX (Bluetooth transmission), Previous/Rewind arrow, Next/Fast Forward arrow, Play/Resume, Pause/Stop. So I was actually looking for a discman of sorts to bring back memories of my teenage years when I would have trouble sleeping, so I would actually pop in a CD and listen to it from start to finish. The joys of discovering some amazing songs through listening made this process worthwhile.Over time, CDs fell out of favor and the rise of digital music took place. Formats like MP3, WMA and OGG ended up taking over. It has become the norm for everyone to have an entire digital library of albums on a device that's used for everything.Still, there was something about CDs that made me nostalgic for those simpler times before smart phones took over. So when I searched for a discman, I saw several from a company called Monodeal. Most had favorable reviews, however, this one, the MD706 in particular jumped out at me.Not only for its unique appearance but also for its features. The fact that reviews were highly favorable was what convinced me to pull the trigger. I got giddy with anticipation as I awaited the device's arrival to me. I couldn't wait to put it through its paces.When the unit arrived, I was shocked at how tiny it actually was. I expected it to be a bit bigger and bulkier but nope, this thing is feather light and in terms of dimensions, not much bigger than a standard discman. Seconds later? I plugged it in and popped in a CD and enjoyed music I hadn't heard in forever from a favorite band.The first thing I noticed was the sound quality of the built-in speakers is decent. I would not call it mind-blowing by any stretch but it's serviceable if you have no other devices to hook it up to. However, to really get the most out of this device? It's highly recommended you use a feature most CD players do not have. Bluetooth transfer.That's right, this thing actually allows you to sync up external Bluetooth speakers and headphones to it without the need of a smartphone is pretty mind-blowing. This is a feature that few other CD players have. Curious about this, I tested its capability with a pair of Altec-Lansing Hydra Minis that I hadn't used in a while.After I remembered how to chain the speakers to each other, I put them in pairing mode and heard the sound that indicates that the devices paired with something. I immediately resumed where I left off on my CD and was greeted with the sound of music blaring through my Hydra Minis.To say I was completely blown away that a simple device like this could actually sync up to Bluetooth speakers, let alone those in a chain would be an understatement. Of course, I ended up testing out a pair of Insignia bluetooth headphones on top of this and yup, memories took over of all those nights listening to music in my bed.Sometime later, I ended up hooking up another pair of Bluetooth speakers. This time it was my Altec-Lansing HydraJolts. Again, pairing was effortless and again, I was blown away by how amazing the set up sounded. I could not believe that such a little device could bring me such joy, thanks to this device? I'm rediscovering the joys of listening to CDs and doing so with modern features.I'll have you know Monodeal offers a lifetime warranty if you register the device. Adding to this, the customer service really cares. They even sent me a high quality protective case for this so I could keep this unit out of harm's way. If anyone is hesitant on whether or not to get this device? I highly encourage you to pull the trigger and buy this immediately. I promise you won't be disappointed.
