I like that metal bracket/spacer piece to which they switched from the older washer type piece because it more widely distributes the force when you tighten the nut.

I’m guessing it’s ok. However I ordered the wrong parts so they won’t work and have since gotten the right parts that worked.

The circular part is not sent as shown in the photo. Moen has discontinued that part and apparently believes the circlular C clamp is enough to mount below a sink for the 1 hole faucet. The vendor here orders the correct part number but it no longer exists, so the illustration here should replaced with a photo of the parts package that actually is sent by Moen.My solution was to make the part myself. Its easy. Take a 1-1/2" sch. 40 pipe and cut it to about 2-1/2" long (that dimension length may vary under your sink). Route the hoses through that pipe and up to the bottom of the sink. Use the C shaped washer with the hole in it that accomodates the threaded mounting shank, screw the nuts in the kit to mount under your homemade plastic pipe part.If you need the 3 hole mount using the valance, then this is the kit for you. I've requested a refund. I don't have it yet but the vendor seems agreeable.

Wrong picture. What I rec. was mounting kit #113173. My kit did NOT include the big C spacer in the picture which is what I needed (old one rusted out). Sending back for a refund. Do not buy if you are looking for the big C spacer.

My Faucet has a fitting and the picture at Amazon showed the same but when I received the Item it was different.Then another one was sent and that was wrong too. the Picture at MOEN and Part Number were what was shownat Amazon. instead of a big ring type spacer with a slot what I got was a Plate with three holes.

Like a couple of the other reviews state, you dont get what is pictured. The C shaped spacer is not included, instead you get this metal bar with 3 holes.
