This strainer is well made and comfortable to use. It is the perfect size for straining into or from a mug or tumbler. I especially like that it is all one piece, making it strong, durable, and easy to wash and dry.

I prefer a julep strainer over a hawthorne and I chose this one due to it's more elongated shape. It's very high quality and works perfectly. I'd highly recommend this one!
