Q: Doing plug-in installation but the back-plate won't stay flush?
A: That's the ground wire nut on the mounting plate, just drill a matching hole for it and put it into the hole.
Q: Doing plug-in installation but don't know to wire it?
A: Check out the installation videos out! Connecting all the wires and then drill it to the wall, wire the ground wire (copper) to the back-plate's green nut (ground wire nut).

The sconces are decent, but missing 1 of 2 wall brackets left me dead in the water in an attempt to surprise my girlfriend for Christmas. I paid up for this version vs comparables because explanation and instructional videos made it clear hardwired install or corded install are possible with included accessories. While theoretically true… you will need wall brackets … both of them in fact. I am now waiting on a return package to turn on power to half of my home.The brackets also don’t quite fit standard new junction box’s screw holes and the sconces themselves have a small base ~4” wide, meaning the more adjustable outer mounting rings will leave you with a visible junction box on one side of the sconce.A simple $1 bracket improvement would have saved hours and resulted in a great product.

We used these as wall sconces in our bedroom and they are the perfect size and put out a very nice amount of light! (I was worried they might be too dim)We did the plug in install rather than the hardwire install, but it’s nice to have both options available. We also used smart light bulbs and just ask Alexa to turn our lights on and off so we don’t have to mess with the pull cord (the outlets used weren’t hooked up to work with a light switch).I’d definitely purchase again!

Couldn’t decide on scones by the bed for a long time and so glad we went with these. They are the perfect neutral color and love that they have the attached pull string especially considering our bed has attached bedside tables. Our bed is also low profile and these are a great length. Love and would buy again!

I bought these lights to use in my Dining room with some salvaged panels I found. They can be hard wired or plugged in. I had to thread the cord through a drilled hole in the panel and wire it. It was the first time I ever did anything like this and it was easy! The instructions for wiring are not thorough enough, so I pulled up a video on YouTube and it went perfectly! I would highly recommend these lights. They look beautiful! I am so happy with the way this project turned out!

These look great! You have to do a little bit of wiring to install them, even if you install them as plug-ins. But it's not hard (the instructions are pretty clear) and they look really good installed. The one downside and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because one of mine is a little off (not straight) between the bigger box (that attaches to the wall) and the little box that the light and pull chain come out from. But from the angle that I have them installed (I'm using them as wall sconces in an office that has no ceiling lights), it's not noticeable, and I can ignore it. Overall, a good find. The color is quite bright, but it's pretty close to the other brushed brass items I've purchased from other places, like Target and even some more expensive lighting stores. I'm happy with these!

These lamps were SUPER easy to install. They came with everything you need to make them either hard wired or plug-in. To do them as plug-ins you do need to know how to connect two wires with an electrical cap, but that's easy to google if you're nervous.We did them as plug-ins and are pleased with the result. They are light enough to hang with two big strips of the Command poster hangers (plastic velcro-ish ones). We do use Hue light bulbs, so we're not tugging on the switch chain every day.Comparable lamps at west elm will run you about the same cost, but I do feel like these are good quality, brass lamps (real metal), that will stand a bit of a test of time.
