I love the price. Looks great, does not clash with other lighting due to the basic design. Shipped very safely...packed well. Inexpensive and will work in almost any space. I'll be buying again.

I needed a light for the corner of my living room over the end table. I wanted a hanging light so I could free up space on the table top. You need a drill to install the light hooks to hang, which is no big deal for most. Make sure it is where you want it because it will leave holes in your ceiling if you decide it needs to be moved. For me, I like the style of the lamp. I like the on/off switch on the cord so I don't have to reach far to use it. It was well packaged and easy to put together (they even give you white cotton gloves to avoid greasing up the globe.) The globe is clear glass. I ordered warm white bulbs for it. This light is very bright. For me, it is too bright in the space I put it. I think if it were hung higher in a room it would be better, not so blinding. It reflects in my TV and the globe is so clear that I added a burlap wrap to tone down the light more. In hindsight, I wish I'd bought a dimmable one with a colored or frosted globe for my space. I will move this one to another place in my house to see if I like it better. But for me, it is just so-so. For you, it might just be perfect.

Whoever built my house did not see fit to put a light fixture above my kitchen sink. Even with the overhead light on, I never got enough light to see to do my chores at the sink. I bought a corded light set and a metal shade but the light was red from the shade and I didn't like it so I never used it. I suspended it from a curtain rod spanning the cabinets on either side of the kitchen window. I ordered this Black Plug-in Pendant Light to see if it works better. The first one the shade was broken so I ordered a replacement and got it very quickly. The box comes with hooks, clips to hold the cord and even gloves to keep fingerprints off the glass shade. I got it installed and I really like it. The black matches the black ceiling light and the wrought iron pot rack. I need to tweak it to hide the cord better and keep it centered and pull it forward so I get more light past my plant shelf. I had a hard time making the little clamp thingies hold the cord properly since I am not using the screw hooks provided. I was going to put a high wattage bulb but the 40 watt I put in it is blinding already. I need to get a frosted bulb.
