I go to school for fashion design. and it was challenging to commute to school just to do homework. I took a picture of the dress form we have and i searched for the retailer. They have this same dress form on their website with no price listed and so many bureaucracies. So I purchased this with the hope that would be the same as the ones i have in school. It said it would arrive in a week and it actually came first then an Amazon prime order I had for a sewing machine. IT CAME WITH IN 2 2 BUSINESS DAYS.HAD INSTRUCTIONS. AND IT WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE. It is the same one we use on school having the princess lines and all the guidelines allow you to drape or tailor anything with easiness, I am so happy with this purchase...:)Thankfully It came with instructions, a alot of people said it did not come with it. I found instructions on the inside of the measurements booklet.

The quality, once it's assembled is quite good for the price. Professional forms go for $500+. The instructions for assembly we hard to follow but we don't have experiences with assembling things. We ordered another type of Dress Form and ending up keeping this one-collapsable shoulder, arm attachment and he;fty quality were the reason we kept this oneWe did have an issue with a faulty base but the vendor quickly solved the issue. Excellent customer service and speedy replies.

So I’ve had this for a few days now. Upon first glance it’s a great quality, easy to assemble and super fast shipped product. HOWEVER,Day 1: after about 5 or so hours of draping, the mannequin suddenly collapsed an unfortunately my leg was close enough to the metal cage and now I have an awful 3” cut and bruise.Day 2: I chalked up the previous issue and my injury to user error because since that episode I hadn’t had any other instances of the mannequin dropping. Throughout usage however I have noted that in comparison to the mannequin I already had from School, this mannequin is made with a thick fabric that seems to snag easier than the basic cotton I’m use to. So it’s already looking worn...also, though it’s been a great experience the pinning depth is not as deep in all areas and the metal cage can only be removed with a screw driver, rather than the snap off I’m use to.Day 3 - 4: I’ve been dealing with and using the mannequin for a couple days now and this morning it was working great but I had to remove it from the base because I’m making a fitted skirt gown (that must be put on via step in) and unfortunately after one removal the mannequin will now no longer stay up at any height on the base other than the absolute lowest position. Due to this I’m now very irritated and due to time constraints I have not taken the mannequin back apart (and to reassemble) to see if this helps, but I am hoping it will.On another note, it’s important to mention that the measurements don’t seem exact to the card they included with the mannequin. In some spots they match up but others it’s either bigger or smaller by .125-.75” so please be sure to measure when you order so you don’t have to re-pattern your piece later. Again this could be user error.

This a great product but after 4 months of use the stand no longer adjusts and I’ve taken it apart and put it back together multiple times. The top of it is jammed crooked so I can even put the knob on it. The spring for the nail to adjust height keeps popping off. It is frustrating and discouraging cause I don’t have the money to replace it and it’s becoming an apparent problem while I’m working. The instructions on how to assemble had little help when I first put it together. Had they been clear from the beginning I might still have an adjust stand and not a broken one.

I am very disappointed in this product. It came disassembled with no instructions or any info on where to FIND instructions. Thankfully there was a video on Youtube, however, with no sound so didn't help much. I also do not think that I had all the parts, because my shipment did not look like the one in the video. Three hours later I finished the assembly but I'm pretty sure that due to certain parts missing, my form still does not function properly. Did not receive any assistance for assembly with this when I contacted the company. Please be aware.

This is the first dress form I ever purchased, I am so happy with it. I compared many form before settling on this one. I looked at adjustable forms, and so on, but I settled on this one because it looked like it could take some serious wear and tear. I plan on using layers of fabric, I needed a form that could stand up to the weight. This form is solid. The heavy duty base, while it does not roll on carpet well, it will kept the form from being pulled over by a rowdy 2 yr old. The measurements given in the chart are spot on.

I already purchased the size 12 dress from from these folks. It arrived earlier than I expected, and was waaay more than I expected. I love it. It is a little difficult to figure out, instruction wise, and be advised that the pole will only work with the pedal depressed. This will make sense once you assemble it. Get a friend to help. Once together it moves like a dream over a cast iron base with no possibility of tipping. I also bought the perfect fit foam kit to help make both forms more to size. Highly recommend for the home sewer. Heck, I couldn't ask for a more professional form for the price.After studying for days and reading reviews until my eyes broke out in flames I realized the other forms are pretty much junky and not at all what I needed. I don't want to struggle with a dress form. Sewing is hard enough. I found this one after searching and searching and boy am I glad I did.
