Sure, you can open it . . . but folding it into its original state requires brain juice (and the carry bag is now full of doggie stuff). I’m using it behind the driver’s seat in a Volvo xc90, and it’s okay, just not as stout as expected. Our new puppy has razor teeth, so it may not last long, but it’s functionality is okay and ease of installation is a no-brainer—so I’m never taking it out of the car.Noise Level? What? If this barrier starts to make noise on its own, I’ll be posting proof to YouTube. It fits and is adequate. It could be improved by disciplinary widgets like NO!, STOP!, and, a southern favorite: HUSH UP! woven into its netting, but hey . . . this isn’t for use in Purgatory.
