Despite the pictures ( both of them, and only 2 of them,) both having the intake manifold AND the boot needed to attach the carb it does not come with the intake. I'm sure I will need to sort out getting flanges or whatever hold and seal the intake to the heads, along with other hardware, such as bolts needed to attach the pictured boot. I was gonna return this item, but decided to go ahead and piece it all together. It would have been nice if there were some kind of note in description letting you know exactly what you are getting and what you need to keep hunting for

I just received this and have the same complaints about the gasket. Based on the photo the gasket should have been included. If not then you should have at least noted that in the description or even it put it under the "items usually purchased together" section. Why after all these years is the same photo being used when people have been complaining about this. Very disappointed and will never purchase from this seller again!!!

May be needed if upgrading your stock carb. Depends on the motor size. It was unnecessary for my 1200.
