I cannot understand what the purpose of the 4 screws are which came inserted with the shoe. When I tighten them down, I cant get my clips attached. When I take them off, the plate inside the show rattles. with no instructions, this seems a worthless design only leading to an annoying sound when using on Peloton. Also, the shoe is about 1/2 size smaller than actual. Because I intend to use it solely for Peloton, I will adjust by wearing lighter sock.If I could I would not have bought these.

I bought these for indoor Peloton use and they work great. I specifically wanted a BOA (the dial to tighten) system as that's what I have on my Rollerblades and love their speed. These are super light shoes but I'm coming from mostly mountain bike shoes with rubberized lug soles and such.A few things I wish were a bit better:- As an indoor shoe, I want more ventilation.- I wish I could walk in these. These are my first non-SPD cleats and I got spoiled being able to walk around with the SPD system.- There is very little lateral support. It's like a mesh running shoe where you're not getting any support on uneven ground. My other cycling shoes are very solid and allow you to really move around.- The cleats have to be wrenched down HARD to not move as you clip-out. My Shimano shoes are more of a rubberized sole and the cleats don't budge.

I have a high end road bike with 20 year old LOOK pedals, which I love. My shoes finally dry rotted and I didn't want a new pedal system. The bike store couldn't help me and hubby found these on line. They are as nice and comfortable as the $160 pair from the bike shop. I'm an 8.5 but have a wide foot due to a bunion. These fit perfect, not too tight across the middle. They have padding on the bottom too. I love the push/pull thing to tighten and loosen the laces. You can really dial in for a good fit. I've done a couple of 14 mile rides and they feel really good. Fit better than my old ones. I love the color. In the sun, they are like an aqua blue green (not as green as in the pictures). Not too bright really, but enough bling to look cool. Hubby had already bought the correct cleats on Amazon and they worked but the screws were too short, so he had to switch them out with his. Buy whichever cleats they recommend under the product description.

I was actually not expecting such a comfortable and high-quality shoe at this price. My fiance' recently purchased a Peloton, and I figured it give it a shot, so I started with just regular workout shoes and kept falling off the peddle (not a fun time, haha.) I went to purchase shoes for the Peloton, but the Peloton brand was $120+. So I decided to go with these which are half the price and I was very very pleased. Super comfy, easy to slide on, and after purchasing the delta clip for the Peloton (only an additional $16), it was like a whole new riding experience. I highly recommend if you are looking for a pair of Peloton shoes and was to have some cash. Cool colors too!

Size match normal shoes, worked with SPD cleats & are comfortable. This was my first set of cycling shoes and I debated going with the more expensive shoe since I was afraid the cheap ones would be... cheap. I was pleasantly surprised with the cycling shoe and it checks all the boxes. It fit like my normal shoes, it was easy to install my SPD cleats and they are comfortable. No blisters or sore spots after 90+ of riding. The twist on/off laces worked fine and they felt like normal shoes.Bottom Line: They work and are comfortable. Nothing much else to say. Would get another pair in the future as long as they continue to hold up.*While I received a gift card in exchange for posting a review, it did not impact my opinion of the shoes. The review is objective and honest.

UPDATE: I bought these shoes at the beginning of the year to go with our new Peloton. I was skeptical because of the price but have been so pleased with them that we now have three pairs in total for our household. They feel great and have held up nicely to almost daily use. Highly recommend!Got a new Peloton and wanted to get cycling shoes for a better ride but didn't want to commit to the $150+ price tag of most of the other shoes. I found these but was skeptical that they would be good quality. After riding in them for about a month now I can say they were well worth it. The fit is perfect and the BOA dial and strap keeps them snug on my feet. I got some delta clips which installed easily and stay tight.

I had a bit of trepidation because the price seemed too good to be true, and there were some reviews of people with difficulty connecting Delta (Peloton default style) cleats. I simply removed a couple of the screws, diagonally, from the existing SPD plate and tightened the other two flush before attaching the (purchased separately) Delta-compatible cleats. This way the plate for SPD doesn't rattle around. The shoes are much lighter and more breathable than the Peloton-issued shoes I got with my bike package, and the tightening mechanism is much more friendly for adjustments, even in-ride. Also, they look great in bright red with the word "SPEED" prominently displayed. I plan to use these as my primary shoes and rotate in the old Peloton ones occasionally. Definitely exceeded expectation based on the great price.
