Start a tradition of generosity with this Set of 3 Melamine Giving Plates. The idea is to fill a plate with homemade treats and give it to a family member or friend. That person fills it with their homemade goodies and passes it on, and so on. A poem is printed on the plate describing the tradition. Using your own permanent marker, you could write your name and date on the back of each to track the plate's travels. 12" dia. x 7/8"H, each. Hand wash recommended.

I made homemade bread and included a jar of my homemade jam on this plate for gifts for friends at Christmas. I secured the food items with clear wrap and tied a bow on top to match the snowman print. It was a GREAT gift for my friends, and they appreciated the durability of the reusable plate to use after the homemade goodies were gone.

I love the idea behind this plate, especially that there are 3 in the package. It is to be an early Xmas gift for my MIL, allowing her time within the season to use them.

Great product with a beautiful verse. You place food to gift to another peson/family. Before each person gifts the plate to someone, you add your name & date on the bottom of the plate. It's fun to see how many people the plate reaches.

I wanted to show these were slightly larger than a standard dinner plate in the pics. These will be great for teacher and neighbor gifts during the holidays. These have a nice overall message but aren’t specific to one religion since I am considering giving these to a Christian friend, Jewish friend and Hindu friend.

Love, Love, Love these plates! The fact that they are melamine is a plus, it make them more durable, cost less, dish washer safe and child friendly. Great for making and giving away Christmas cookies with the grandkids. I ordered both the Snowman Ones and the Christmas Garland Ones (same lovely poem on both) The fact that you get 3 plates in each set is a plus, for lots of cookies and brownies making. I just wish Lakeside would make the same sort of thing for year round giving. We do lots of family get togethers and these would be perfect for them.

These plates have bright, bold coloring and lettering and make a sweet gift. I signed the back with To: and From: in a Sharpie, filled it with Christmas cookies and friends loved it! It is larger than expected, takes a lot to fill it up.I loved that there were three of them...price was good!
