The cup itself is pretty solid, but the handle can easily be bent. Use with care when packing brown sugar.

I injured the palm of my hand a few years ago, and struggle with the way things hit/touch the soft tissue area. I am an avid baker, and it was actually hurting my hand to use my measuring cups and spoons because of the lengths of their handles. I found these and thought I'd give them a try. They're so much better! I was looking at some extremely expensive ones that were almost identical, and these work just fine. I'm very pleased with them!
