These are cute and easy to take apart and my grandchild loves them. I would say any age over four. Maybe three is okay.

Our great-granddaughter loved our gifted authentic Russian nesting dolls so we wanted her to have her own set. These were perfect for her little hands and the number of “animal dolls” was just enough. These animal dolls are well-made and colorful. They are a big hit for our 18 month old little doll.

I got these for my 2 year old after he kept wanting to play with a set of babushka dolls at my mom’s when we went to visit. They were off limits to me growing up & sat on a high up shelf, but my mom let the grand baby play with them 😂 After the 2nd visit & him playing with them nonstop, I ordered him this set. He loves them! He plays with them over & over. We have had them for a couple weeks now & he plays with them daily. They are nicely made & made a great gift for him! I am pleased with the quality as well as the low price.

It was very difficult to take each animal apart so not appropriate for a 6 year old. Just frustrating.

My one year old loves these. We took out the smallest one, the bird, and will put it back when it's not a choking risk any more. My one year old just loves popping them open and closed, open and closed, and learning the names for the animals. We have had them for 3 months now, dropped them on the floor lots of times, and they haven't broken. The one negative to these, as other reviewers mentioned, is that it's hard to pry the lion open the first time--basically impossible to do it without damaging it a little bit. We used a razor blade and you can see tiny little razor blade cuts around the edge now. Still worth the purchase though.

I was so sad when I recieved this item for my grandson, and the lion top did not fit onto the bottom, it wouldn't shut like it should for nesting dolls. I thought I probably just got a bad set and sent it back for replacement. I surprisingly got the replacement set the next day, and was sad to see the very same problem. I returned it for a full refund. Maxshop was great at expediting the replacement and allowing the refund. I just wish the product was functioning the way it should. I'm sad to not be able to give this to my grandson. I hope they can fix the problem with production and get it right. It defeats the whole purpose of nesting dolls if you can't close them up.

Cute, but pieces don’t fit great. I bought this for my toddler because she loves her older sisters dolls. However, the two largest dolls, the lion and tiger won’t even close because the wood is cut too wide. If I do close them all the way it’s nearly impossible to break them apart even for an adult much less a toddler. The pig is too loose and her pieces just fall apart. The only one that was really cut right was the monkey. However, they do I’ll fit inside one another. Just disappointed she can’t play with them exactly how they should be.

I bought this for my grandchild but there’s mould inside each of the dolls. The pig has also expanded and no longer fits inside the tiger. Overall a very disappointing purchase from Amazon.
