I got this for my husband, who served in the USMC many decades ago. As they say, once a marine, always a marine. He was thrilled with this coin! Even though it is clear from the images accompanying the listing that it is not small, it was larger than I expected, and quite substantial. This is no cheap, plastic knock off. On the side with the images, the colors are vibrant and the relief is excellent. Since it's a coin it can't be three-dimensional, but it has enough relief that it almost feels that it is. The reverse side has crisp, clear lettering. This is a really nice challenge coin that I think any marine would be happy to own.

I am a sucker for commemorative coins and have built up an eclectic coin collection over the years. The marine corp commemorative coin was a good size and decent quality. The 'honor, courage, commitment' inscription on the back of the coin may be hard for some to read given the small font size, but I didn't have too much trouble. (Honestly if you find the inscription too tiny that may be more just a sign that it's time to update your contacts or glasses prescription lol).
