I bought a backdrop roller system that came with plastic chains and it is the bain of all portrait studios. I purchased this chains and they came as a pair good for 2 rollers only. I split it up and reconfigured the size to be able to make 3 chains and it has been the best thing ever since buying this.Highly recommend as a replacement for the Neewer system and other cheap ones.

These chains are a must have if you dealing with heavy backdrops. the plastic ones just don't cut it and when you need them the most they snap on you.you could get connectors that bind the broken plastic chains together but thats another element that could fail.Since these chains are used mostly in studios the extra weight should not be a problem. besides the finish is also nice and can be used as a Prop also ;-)
