Sharp and useful. Slicing cheese and vegetables can get annoying but this is so sharp it made it a breeze absolutely loving it. Easy to clean and fairly ergonomic.

I was surprised how sharp the blade was. Adjustable for a couple of different thicknesses. Right size for any small to medium size vegetables

It works well enough to allow you to slice produce in nice thin slices that are uniform in nature. The blade is sharp and due to its simple nature cleanup is a breeze(exercise caution please, this thing would have no problem claiming your finger tip).If there is one problem I have. Its that I cannot secure the item holder to the unit to ensure they stay together and do not get lost.

This handheld mandoline slicer is a handy tool for swiftly slicing fruits and vegetables, but it does have a few drawbacks.Pros:✔️ Sharp stainless steel blade slices through veggies like cucumbers, carrots, and potatoes effortlessly.✔️ The adjustable thickness feature is particularly useful for achieving the desired slice thickness.✔️ This mandoline is compact and easy to store, unlike bulkier models.Cons:❌ The food holder feels flimsy and doesn’t grip well, making it difficult to keep smaller items steady while slicing.❌ This design isn’t the safest. Without a sturdy guard or hand protection, there’s a risk of cutting yourself, especially when slicing harder vegetables.❌ It’s challenging to clean because food particles get stuck around the blade, hindering thorough rinsing.Final Thoughts:This mandoline slicer is okay for light use, but if you slice vegetables often, you may want a sturdier, safer option. The sharp blade does the job, but be extra careful while using it!Would I buy it again? Probably not—I’d look for a more stable, safer model.

Works great but I wish it had come with a cover to protect from cutting yourself. I’m hesitant on where to store it because of this. It does have a safety feature but a cover would have been better.

Two features that elevate this above all other mandolins. Other mandolins I have come across have a flat finger area which makes slipping off easy and also if you have a soft food to slice they usually slide out from under the flat area. This one:The piece for you to hold while slicing has a lip around the finger area that will keep my fingers from sliding off the holder and onto the mandolin. I think its going to weird when slicing long veggies like carrots and I will probably cut those in half or start it without the holder then when its getting close using it.Besides that lip for finger protection this also the ability to take on a big piece of let's say a block of cheese and you can start with the holder fully open which will go around the block partially and as the block gets smaller the red piece continues to push the last bit out.

When I ordered this, I didn't realize how difficult it would be to use. The blades are very sharp, no complaint there. However, it doesn't have a bowl, clamp, mechanism for holding it steady while using it to slice foods on the very sharp blades. It does come with a guard, but because it is not very sturdy on the counter or in a dish, I don't really trust it.

Trickier to use than at first glance, but adds convenience once you get the hang of it. Easy to clean and provides safety from sharp knives. Good value and works as expected.
