I got these for my dad whose feet are often cold. I tested them out myself because my feet tend to get cold a lot too. While the socks heated up fairly quickly, it took a while for my feet to get warm and I think a part of that is because the heating element is only along the top of the foot. I would have preferred it to be on the bottom, but maybe they don't put it there because walking on the wires could damage them? In any case, great for those cold nights, but I don't know if you could comfortably wear them with ski boots or even regular snow boots if they have a high shaft.

My husband bought these socks for me because I always complain about my feet being cold. I sit at a desk all day for work so my circulation probably isn’t the best either. I tried these socks out to see if they could stand the test of my cold feet. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how warm they got and kept my feet warm throughout the day. While no product is ever perfect, I have highlighted the pros and cons so you can make your own decision. The Pros: kept my feet warm all day, battery life lasted my entire 8 hour shift, battery pack fit nicely into a little pocket on the outside of the sock, comfortable while wearing (although you could feel the heating wires on the tops of your feet). The Cons: I have larger calves and while they did fit and were comfortable while wearing them I noticed they left indentations on my skin where the battery pack sat and where the wires were on the tops of my feet. They are somewhat thick, so I would not recommend wearing them with shoes unless they are loose fitting. My personal optional is that you would be uncomfortable with shoes on while wearing these as you can feel the heating wires so the shoes might leave deeper indentations on your feet if pressure it also applied. Overall, for what I use them for it was a great purchase.

The battery goes at the top of the sock in its very own pocket. These are perfect for going out in the snow or cold and wearing these inside your boots. Or putting these on when I'm come inside from the cold. Either way..... you can walk freely because there isn't cords attached to the socks. It uses rechargeable batteries and everything is included. So so happy with my feet being warm now. ☺

I work from home and my feet sometimes get cold so I thought this would be a great idea. The lowest setting didn't feel like anything. Middle? Maybe. The highest setting I could feel, but the area it heats is very small. I ended up putting it on high for awhile and then went back to low for periods of time. I think I got a good 5-6 hours out of it, but not perfect for an 8 hour shift. They need a bigger area of heating. I'd also like it if the temp were a few degrees higher.

These socks have some upsides and some downsides to them. They are very comfy. Nice and thick to keep your feet warm in winter. They can't be washed though. I feel like it will be too much of a hassle for me to bother gently handwashing these every time I want a pair of heated socks. They warm up fairly nicely when I'm laying down, and keep my feet toasty after some time of being under the blankets. The heat is not distributed though. It comes from a little heating pad that snakes it's way from the top of the sock to the bottom. The heat distribution could be a lot better for sure. The battery packs are a little bit cumbersome. They don't get in the way much, but you'll notice them when you slide them into the top of the sock.the stickers and leds are a bit confusing on them. Red is high, yellow is medium, and green is low. They take probably 5-10 minutes to heat after turning them on high.Nice socks with some missed points on convenience in terms of being able to keep them clean and head distribution. Can't say I'd recommend a product like this at full price. Could be for some people though!

These socks are high quality and thick, but can be worn comfortably in regular shoes and boots. The wiring is surprisingly discreet and slim and doesn’t interfere with the experience of wearing them. However, the battery is surprisingly large. Each battery sits in a pocket at the top of the sock. There’s no closure on the opening but worn with pants, there’s no way the battery would fall out. My pants are slim fitting at the calves so it’s awkward getting the cuffs over the socks after I pull them up because of the bulky battery. So I put the socks on and then my pants. They can only be hand washed so I probably won’t end up wearing them as often as I had hoped which is a bummer because they’re super comfortable and the heat on the top of the foot is great. I can’t feel the heat if I wear a thin pair of socks underneath these to try and prevent them from getting sweaty and dirty in a single use so I have to wash them after each use typically. All in all- high quality, discreet wiring, great heat, bulky batteries, hand wash only.

I’d say this is about my six or seven pair of these now and now that it’s getting cold I am so happy that I have them I’ve always suffered from really cold feet from poor circulation and typically will probably go through at least 100 to $150 in hot hands for toes every winter so after buying a few pairs of these, they will pay for them self tenfold as long as the batteries last will update

Pros: the heat level was nice, socks are comfortable, controls and charging were very easy and straightforward. I really liked that there is only one button to push and it was so easy that I could change heat levels through my pants without even having to look at the battery.Cons: they only heat the front top of your foot and lower front of your ankle, the socks wouldn't stay up.I wore them with rain boots for a wet hike and they kept my feet nice and toasty but I had to keep pulling them up to stay in place. I am hoping that with tight ski boots, they will stay in place better but this was a pretty big concern that they weren't tight enough the first time I wore them. It would also be nice if they warmed more of your foot but for my hike in the high 30's, the high level kept my feet very warm.
