These are amazing! Our big yellow lab kept falling on our wood floors in his older age. It was heartbreaking to see him not be able to get up. I looked into several nail cover options. I was if-y after reading some reviews but we followed the directions and they have worked like a charm! We trimmed the nails and paw pads and prepped with an alcohol wipe. Definitely pull with tension all the way around the nail to get a tight fit and press down onto it when it’s fully wrapped. Our lab got an immediate pep in his step realizing he wasn’t slipping around on the floor. I’m sure you could even have a groomer help apply them after a nail trim. I’m SO glad these people made this! 🩷

My dog chewed them off and ate them within 30 minutes of me putting them on... they stick to themselves very well and I had no problems wrapping the nails with them, and they stayed put when I pulled on them. I was doing my schoolwork and when I looked over at him, he had eaten them all off.Sooo...

These works really great for my dog but if your dog will not hold still for you to put it on maybe you want to pass. My dog held still but the other thing that interfered was her hair that being long. So while it was tricky to put on a little bit it did help her with slip resistance, and it was very durable.

They are not tacky as in the description. A bit difficult to put on our pug. You have to kind of stretch the strip and squeeze it on the nail as you wind it around. One fell off the first day. They may work better on a larger dog. They do help once you get it on though. We also cut the strip lenghtwise so it would fit on the nail.

i’ve tried socks, toe grips, adhesives, and now tape on the nails. this is maybe the worst option yet. i trimmed my dogs toe hairs. washed and dried and waited to put these on. they made my dog trip and actually slip more. i then trimmed the tape thinking maybe it was too long but this did nothing to help.

These do NOT work well for small dogs… under 10 lbs… it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to wrap them … not to mention if you have a dog that likes to fight, you’ll just end up wasting the wraps… once they get stuck to anything they are unusable. Going back to my Doc Mchenry toe treads…these things are terrible
