I was a bit concerned about my M.2 CPU temps because the slot is located directly between my GPU and CPU, however, the temperature rose 5C using this heatsink from the stock heatsink provided by Gigabyte, using Aorus Elite AX and a water cooled i9 13th gen CPU. I used the thermal pad that came with the heatsink, but also tried a good quality thermal paste, which dropped the temp 1C. As soon as I replaced this heatsink with my stock heatsink, the temperatures returned to their previous levels, so I would only recommend this product to someone who does not already have a heatsink. Also, don't forget to adjust your case fan curves to move more air.

If your m.2 has chips on both sides or a "blade" style heat spreader. This maybe tricky to use but not impossible. You just need to bend the tabs where the spring will attach up slightly or the spring may rub against the drive.

My SSD sits between my CPU and GPU and was hitting 70+ Celsius. This lowered my temps by 8-10 degrees.Instructions weren't the best, but it's easy enough to figure out.

this thing works great. easy to install. Also dropped the temp on my ssd by about 20degrees. the problem with my setup is that the main ssd is in a spot that doesn't get a lot of airflow. it was running in the high 60's, with this installed, it is now running in the high 40's. the tall fins helped getting it cool.

Nice tall heatsink, disperses the heat nicely. Works even better with a small fan attached. As with their other heatsinks, I don't recommend using the rubber feet they provide. That's asking for warping. Just use the thermal pads on both side, and all should be fine.

It works good but it's too tall to use M.2 #1 slot. It can be used in the #2 slot
