We have duplicated the original WW2 flat buckle hardware all postwar slings have the bump on the buckle. This would be the correct issue sling for your World War Two or Korea dated M1 Garand or your M1A. Exactly like the one used by U.S. Troops during WW2. Still a favorite among target shooters and at the National Matches at Camp Perry. Marked JT&L 1942. Heavy canvas. It will fit many other military and civilian rifles. Is it 1 1/4 inches wide.

The tan color is period specific to WW2 but my M1A (M14 clone) is representative of the early-mid 1960s era. At that time, the OD green sling was issued. But I did not want green. So there, deal with it. 🤣

The sling itself isn't bad. The hardware, however, is cheap painted junk. The buttstock hook isn't even spring steel. The first time I took it off to adjust it, it kept it's flexed shape so now it just falls off.

Just like the current M1 web sling in OD. Nice color and appears well made. Fits heavy duty swivels. Works great with a Marlin lever action rifle.

I've loved this sling design ever since I was introduced to in in the Marines, this one is in a nice khaki and is pretty thick and sturdy. Easy to setup, easy to adjust on the fly, and holds firm once set.The perfect sling for any rifle really. Just a great simple design.

Being a modern tacticool guy who's made his way from the original two point simple slings, through the horrible three point sling days, then to the single point sling, and finally back to the updated Vickers style two point sling; I found this sling to be surprisingly good. I bought it for an old Lee Enfield that I've had for a million years and love dearly. The sling looks right on that gun and it works amazingly well.
