This is the only thing that works for my stinky cats. Pretty much neutralizes all odors. it doesn't tend to stick well though so I go through them way too fast replacing ones that have come undone and fallen into the litter tray. They don't really have an odor, which I like but absorb odor which is pretty much the whole point.

Didn’t realize how much these reduced the smell of the used litter until I changed the box and forgot to attach one. The litter itself is great but don’t do yourself a disservice by forgetting these.

I don't own a Litter Maid anymore, but I do remember that these filters worked great at removing the odors from the containers that the waste goes in. Now I scoop the litter myself and put the waste in a small stainless steel trash can with a lid that flips open when you step on the petal. This works great at keeping the odors at bay, until I would go to clean the litter again. As soon as I'd opened the lid, the smell would hit me. That's when I remembered using these several years ago. So I decided to give them a try. I just stick them to the inside of the lid and the odors are no more! When I change out the trash bags, I'll simply switch out the filter for a new one, too. The adhesive works great and I've never had them fall off. In fact, they stick real good, but come off cleanly, leaving no sticky residue behind. I very highly recommend this product, even if you don't own a Litter Maid.

These weren't as odor fighting as the ones which originally came with the actual LitterMaid Automatic Litter Box. They're okay. Also, they don't really stick too well to the plastic cover tray so I've resorted to using tape along the side to keep it from falling into the disposable box. And, since those reasons were why I bought them, I couldn't give it 5 stars because they didn't seem to be made to fit that rating.

I bought the automatic Littermaid scooper that uses these filters. Unfortunately the filters need to be changed almost daily to keep odors down. This can be very expensive however I have bought liners for it on Ebay and now change the liners. The filters also come with a charcoal stick on to fit the lid but it always falls off after the first or second time the litterbox rakes. I have to tape the charcoal pad to the receptacle lid. Manual scooping? versus electric scooping? is still an unanswered question for me. Both are a lot of dirty work. Louise Buckner
