I needed a light for a closet that previously has fluorescent. This works great. I really appreciate that it comes with the wire connectors already connected. This was the most easily installed light I’ve had. The lights are very easy to aim as well. I recommend this if you need something that is simple and works.

I've slowly over time replaced all but one light fixture in my home. I hated every single one that the former owners put in and it's been a slow process. I opted for black for the fixtures in my living room and when I saw this, I thought it would be a great replacement.First things first. Changing a light fixture is about as easy a job as you will find in the electric trade. However, if you don't know what you are doing, I would encourage you to either hire a qualified professional to do it for you, or spend the money on the proper tools to ensure you aren't working on live electricity. I was an electrician for about 3.5 years and I've heard too many stories about things going wrong. Now that I've said my piece on electrical safety, I will say that this is one of the easier fixtures to install. They include push fit connectors for your ground, neutral, and hot wires. I don't trust them and they also aren't great for retrofit since at minimum, you'll likely have more than one neutral wire already twisted and either have to untwist, cut, and strip, or cut a pigtail. Both of which are a bigger pain than just snipping the push connector, striping the wire and using wire nuts. All you have to do outside of wiring the fixture is attach the bracket and the fixture is secured in place with a couple of decorative nuts. The whole process took me about five minutes. The light spectrum for the included bulbs is 3000K and it looks like the other 3000K fixtures I have. I absolutely hate the cool LED spectrum lights, and this has a warm incandescent feel to it. And the black finish goes perfectly with the rest of my fixtures and decor. It puts out plenty of light as an entryway light which is great for the one or two times a month I actually turn it on. I don't have it installed on a dimmer, so I can't speak to the stated range of 10-100%, but I have no reason to think it isn't dimmable. The price point currently is at $30 which is very fair. It's not a high end fixture, but in all honesty, I've installed lots of high end fixtures and people can rarely tell the difference. Especially when it is on and staring at it would likely just cause you discomfort from staring at a bright bulb. It's a budget friendly option that looks good and makes light. Nothing ground breaking, but a solid choice if it fits your vibe.
