Solid feeling which translates to feeling like I will be well protected if I fall. Comfortable yet a little stuff but still able to move freely and does not feel like I will overheat.

It uses a sleeve to hold the guard in place. Didn't feel confident the guard would stay secured when I really needed it to. Might be better if you got a perfect size, but arms vary quite a bit. Making sure the next set I get has straps.
