This helmet is for my 9 year old son. He had a mohawk helmet before and it was the only helmet that he said didn't hurt his head, so he requested another when we bought the new size. He loves it, it's cool and he wears it and that's the most important part.

Just how it’s pictured . Fits my 6yr old nephew perfectly with room to grow. Spikes are cool. Worth the money .

This helmet saved my life!I am an adult, but have a narrow head and find most standard adult size helmets wobble side to side on me, so I have bought women's and older kids helmets before and they work well. This one fit like a treat on my bare head, snug all around like it is supposed to be to maximize safety. The first day I wore it, I was hit by a car crossing through an intersection on my bicycle. The car ran the red light and hit me full on. Most of my injuries were to my legs, shoulder and bad whiplash, but no head trauma. (I'm ok, but my bike was totaled). After I was released from hospital and got home, I got the chance to examine my helmet and to my surprise there was a huge dent in it and scratches going in multiple directions... and on the inside, the foam had a crack running from the ear to the top center. Clearly I had hit my head quite severely, but I never felt it and didn't suffer anything but the whiplash. If I had not worn the helmet, that dent would be in my skull and I may not have made it. As I only used it once, I cannot testify to the longterm quality, but, fitted snug, it definitely fulfilled its primary function of protecting my head well. I just bought a replacement and will use it when I am fully recovered and have a replacement bike.

My 9 1/2 year old boy who is big for his age (wears size 14 tops and 12/14 bottoms) loves this helmet. He thinks he's so cool when he wears it riding is dirt bike and go cart. Fits comfortable and great design. I like that the Mohawk is not as big as some other helmets.
