I bought these 100 space-themed pencils for my classroom, and now my kids are writing so fast, I’m pretty sure they’re trying to launch their homework into orbit. The pencils are sharp enough to blast through any tricky math problem, and the cute little rockets and planets on them make even the grumpiest kid feel like a space explorer.Warning: Using these pencils may cause sudden bursts of creativity, random space facts, and spontaneous requests to “phone home.” Also, a few students attempted to build a spaceship out of the pencils, so keep an eye out for rocket scientists in training. 10/10 would recommend for teachers who want to turn their classroom into Mission Control. Houston, we have no problems!

I am a teacher and I bought these to inspire my kiddos. They are should not be sharpened in an electric sharpener because the covering unravels revealing the wood of the pencil. Makes the pencil a little ugly. The eraser is of good quality doesn't leave streaks.

There are a lot of wrapped pencils with fun graphics for kids (and adults), and not all of them are great. These Space-Themed motivational pencils are excellent and unusual in that they are great writers. Unlike others I've had to deal with, the leads in this set are virtually all well-centered so they sharpen well. Also, for HB #2 pencils, they write really dark. A lot of cheap #2 pencils are harder and write a lighter gray than I prefer. And the point retention -- the time in between sharpening -- is outstanding. That's something surprising with darker lead that tends to be soft and wears down quickly. It keeps students in their seats. TBH I kept a number of these pencils for myself because they write so well, the little motivational messages are nice, and frankly the graphics are enjoyable. There are a number of other kiddie space-themed pencils, but these aren't twee -- just fun and motivating. 100% recommended.
