Capture exactly what nature intended.

When shooting sprawling landscapes, bodies of water and similar outdoor scenery, the sun doesn’t always cooperate. To compensate for harsh lighting and oversensitive sensors, the IR Neutral Density Filter from KODAK slows light from entering the lens, improving your photographs by reducing cast and balancing color for a more natural tone. Snap confidently as the filter reduces infrared light, prevents overexposure, improves shallow depth of field, and helps you portray a wide range of optical effects. Use the filter to blur water, clouds, vehicles and other objects to express movement; capture a cool misty or silky effect when snapping water fountains, waterfalls and waves; and bring otherwise static portraits and landscapes to life.

Comprised of a hard-wearing aluminum ring and durable Japanese glass, the nano filter undergoes a 16-layer coating process with infrared protection, helping to minimize reflection and optimize light transmission for less flaring and ghosting. Despite its hard-wearing construction, the filter is still super slim and lightweight—an ideal choice for on-the-go shutterbugs. Use it to safeguard your lens, upgrade your scenic images, maintain color integrity, or experiment with breathtaking visual effects. Your purchase also includes a retro storage case, microfiber cleaning cloth and mini guide for learning more about the fabulous world of filters. So, landscape lovers—want the secret to snapshot success? Add an IR Neutral Density Filter from KODAK to your cart today!

The metal film reel canister makes a good storage solution besides hashing a nice nostalgia factor. They filter itself seems to do a pretty decent job with no noticeable cast so far. It's supposed to have ir built in which was part of the reason for the choice, but i haven't had a chance to fully test that. Maybe I'll update the review of i don't see it working too well for that aspect. I do wish they had other nd stops with the ir other than this one and the 1000. At least on Amazon. It feels a little thin, but the glass seems decent enough. Not disappointed with purchase so far.
