I'm a big tea drinker, have been all my life - and while I absolutely love iced tea, at the office it was simply easier to go with hot tea via my Keurig-- Until today!Thanks to this Kismile portable icemaker; I'm now back into my Iced Tea fix! I'm quite impressed by this inexpensive little icemaker, as it knocks out Ice bullets every few minutes - faster than the ice maker in my home refrigerator! It's not the quietest thing ever made, but it's also not loud enough to disturb coworkers or be a nuisance when I'm on the phone.You do need to plan on using the ice batch in near real-time as it does not keep the ice from melting, in which case it will simply refreeze new bullets. But... and this is an important point, you do not want to leave it turned off with standing water in it-- as this will promote mildew growth - something you really want to avoid. So the best workflow model I've found is to make the entire water reservoir into ice, leaving the water reservoir empty, remove the ice, turn it off and leave it with the lid open. This will allow the insides to dry out until you use it again - no mildew. If that's not practical for you, there is a drain plug in the bottom front of the unit to empty the water, but even doing this can leave the insides humid - again, not the right way to store this long term. The unit does feature a cleaning cycle, for trying to minimize fuzzy stuff, but rather than rely on that, it's better to prevent it from the beginning.It does come with a little ice scoop, but since the entire ice basket is removable, I found the using the scoop to be needlessly cumbersome when you can simply dump the basket easier.This unit has automatic shutoff in the event of water low of ice basket full conditions, and allows for selecting smaller or larger ice bullets, but I've never made the smaller bullets.With those management caveats, this is a great little unit, and my office hours just got quite a bit nicer. Just saying!

This ice maker does very well. It's easy to use. You just pour the water up to the line and then wait for about 5-7 minutes, and the ice begins to come out. It can make 26 LBs of ice per day. I let the entire amount of ice come out, then I put it in the freezer. I add more water, then leave to do other things, and the ice basket is full of ice again when I come back. It has two sizes to choose from. I use the biggest setting because the ice is bullet ice, and it has a hole in the center. This causes the ice not to last as long as a solid cube. I wish it was solid, but I'm satisfied with it.

If you're in the market for a compact ice maker for your RV, office, or mini bar this is an excellent choice! This portable ice maker is super fast! It literally makes ice within 6 minutes of turning it on! The water tank has a capacity of only 0.8L but its plenty for a personal office, mini bar, RV use case. You have two size of ice sized from mini to large cubes. The machine runs pretty quiet and has everything you need to get it running. It automatically stops making ice once the ice reaches the infrared sensor. The downside is the unit itself doesn't have refrigerator itself so the ice is just sitting ontop of the tray using its own radiant temperature to stay frozen. So if you are using the unit in a HOT RV or camping area in direct sunlight your ice will melt fast! Although the water tank is directly above the ice tray so its recycling any water drops. The unit does have an included instruction manual all in english too. It does instruct you to run a 30 min cleaning every few weeks. But overall, for a compact ice maker its speed makes up for its weaknesses. An excellent portable ice maker for many uses.

If you are looking for an ice maker that makes ice quickly, this is it. It's a bit of a heavy small appliance but it doesn't take up a lot of room on the kitchen counter. It is pretty simple to use, but I will say the directions are very minimal. You fill the tank with water, turn the power on, choose between small cubes or larger ones, and it really does make cubes in 8 minutes. It takes longer to fill the entire bucket, obviously, but this is perfect for a party where you need lots of ice because you can just keep it going. It has a self clean function too, which I have not used yet--but you fill up the water to the max line, hold the power button for 5 seconds and it cleans itself--that's great to keep your ice bucket clean all summer long. There are lights on the top to notify you when the water is low, or the ice bucket if full, too. The basket is removeable, and it comes with a scoop. This is a quick, convenient in every way, ice maker. Highly recommend.

I got this countertop ice maker, it has changed our lives! This little machine has a carry handle, so it's super easy to move around, which I love. It churns out 8 cubes in just about 6 minutes, so whether I'm hosting a gathering or just want ice for my daily iced coffee, it’s perfect.What really impresses me is its capacity. It can make up to 26 pounds of ice in a day, which is more than enough for my home office needs. Plus, it produces two sizes of bullet ice, so I can choose based on my drink of the day.
