I should not have waited to order this key fob. Mine was broke I went to the auto parts store they wanted over a $100 so I decided to look around and came across this one and it works very well.

The case is slightly bigger than the original. It is fine when using the buttons it comes with, but the buttons won’t activate the function very consistently and the originals are smaller, so you can’t use them with this case

This remote initially fit well, but is not made from the same durable plastic as the original remote case. After about a month it started to develop cracks. It’s now falling to pieces after maybe 2 months of use. The case material is brittle and crumbly. I would recommend you don’t buy it.

This product actually made my fob work better, I think the rubber was wore out on the old one. Very easy to install took me about 45 seconds to change it.

I've removed/replaced it 3 times. Each time, swapping back to the original FOB worked every time. This new housing and button pad system simply do not work. Tried this new shell with original button set instead of the included pad of buttons and contacts, and it worked. But they sit way down inside this new, thicker housing, so it's still not working well. This item is useless, regardless how much I fiddle with it.Conclusion: contact points on new silicone button pad do not have enough conductivity to run the FOB.Help website says "blocked".Toll free help number "disconnected or is no longer in service."Something has clearly gone wrong with this product in 2024.Wasted time and money.Look elsewhere.

This review is for a 4-button keyless entry remote key fob case/shell sold by KeylessOption, manufacturer Part #KPT2593. This replaced the fob shell for my 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500HD.The circuit board from my original fob was a perfect fit in the new shell. But as others have noted, the battery did not align properly with the circuit board. When the new case was assembled initially the remote was inoperable.Troubleshooting the issue was complicated by the opaque case and the lack of an LED on the remote, so it was difficult to determine what was needed to align the battery. I managed to get a solid connection by adding a small piece of foam tape behind the cell and by bending the battery prongs on the circuit board toward the cell.Now my fob works perfectly and looks new. And it did not require reprogramming!

The plastic shell of my 2010 GMC Sierra LTZ keyless remote door access needs replacement. I am happy from the replacement that I ordered. Fits perfectly and costs reasonable. There is a guide to follow to enable myself to obtain a perfect fit.
