This fountain has been the best shared water source for my 2 kitties and dog. The size is excellent; my medium sized dog has no hesitation (he doesn't like bowls that are small or shallow), but it's also not too large for my cats. One of my cats drinks directly from the fountain part. Cleaning and setup are very easy. It's also practically silent unlike lots of others. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because even though it has a filter, cat hair, dirt, etc. settle at the bottom - the bowl is so large there isn't any kind of suction or flow to push the debris that falls in towards the filter. The water itself get purified, but anything that falls in just stays and so the water still has to be changed out frequently between bowl washings. I do recommend this and would purchase again.

I absolutely loved this fountain waterer when I first set it up! I had a stainless steel one I bought from Chewy that I was looking to replace, as it's pump burnt out a couple times after running empty. This one has a protection that's supposed to keep the pump from running when empty, and I was tired of just getting replacement pumps any time I missed filling after my pupper emptied the old one, so here we are.It's ceramic, which makes it still easy to clean like the other, and it runs SILENTLY, which is nice. There's an LED light that indicates when the pump is running (blue) or when the water is too low to run (red). And the basin is big enough to accommodate two cats and a dog.I thought everything was great, but after a month the pump isn't running anymore. It's been cleaned, and I replaced both filters... I get the blue light, but no pumping. Super disappointed.

We have two very thirsty Huskies who make a mess, need to drink at the exact same time, and want to hog the bowl. Every single problem resolved with this amazing fountain! Yes, it's heavy, even when empty, so it stays in place. The inner, slick coating prevents mold and yuck from growing. And you can easily just wipe it out every now and then to keep the water fresh. The dogs can't hog the bowl anymore because it's that big. You could easily have 4 large dogs drinking happily from this at the same time! Our girl prefers the fountain portion to drink from. Yes, I highly recommend this water dish. It looks great, sounds amazing, and solves all your water bowl problems.

I really like this fountain. It holds a ton of water which is great because I have 4 dogs. It is easy to clean and my dogs seem to like that it is ceramic. MY only problem is that the pump broke after 13 months and all Amazon will do is give me a phone number that no one answers. Super annoyed because the pump is a special size and style and I cannot figure out how to buy a replacement. ***I never heard from the company, but I did figure out how to buy the correct replacement pump. It was $12 so I bumped the rating up because it really is the best large fountain I have found.

My kitties and dog loved drinking from the fountain, and I didn’t need to worry about dehydration. I cleaned it weekly and changed the filters regularly. The light was helpful when the water was getting low, which I didn’t let happen often - I wanted to keep the motor happy and not stressed. I loved that it was ceramic, which made it easy to clean. Then one day it didn’t pump anymore. I’d had it just five months. Is $10/month a good investment of running water for my pets? Maybe. But I’m thinking that’s a pretty steep price to pay. Plus now having to buy a new fountain.

Easily the nicest pet fountain I've ever had. Thick ceramic with a nice glace. No buried sharp corners you can't clean. Soft blue/red light coming from under to tell you the pump status. Auto pump shut off if water gets low. Comes apart really easy. Absolutely silent and no splashing. It even looks nicer than the others I own.Only possible negative is the pump is unlike the other pumps normally used in the other fountains I've owned, in a good way, it's a quality looking pump. If it goes bad some day you might have trouble replacing it.

Purchased 9/16, pump is junk by 11/1. I have taken it apart many times to clean, soaked in vinegar, etc. the flow is so low it barely makes a trickle. Replacement? Yea, they want $20 for it. Well, not going down that route for something that didnt 2 months. My return window closed, so now I am stuck with this expensive junk. The dish is good, ceramic, heavy, easy to clean. But they messed up with a cheap junky pump that they charge too much for. So buyer beware, look elsewhere.
