First of all, I am no expert at fishing. But I have caught a good amount of fish in a short time with this rod. I fish only small lakes and ponds in California. I've caught rainbow trout 0.5-5lbs and catfish 2-5 lbs with no problem at all. Secondly, the color of this rod matches perfectly with the 13fishing Kalon R radioactive spinning reel. It's almost an exact match. Check out the pics. Together they have made me an unstoppable force and most folks must think I'm an expert when I leave with my limit of fish. I'm impressed with this rod and hope to use it for years to come.

I just received the Kastking Royal Charge 7' spinning rod and have not had a chance to fish with it yet. However, the rod appears to be of excellent quality in both materials and workmanship. It is light weight and balances well with the Graphite Shimano spinning reel I've paired it with. I have a few other Kastking rods and reels in my collection of fishing gear and have never been disappointed by any of them. Kastking has made good on their Vision Statement to "achieve affordable innovation through novel concepts and ingenious designs".

I got a heavy rod to give me a more complete range as my other rods were in the light to medium range. The manufacturing quality is evident right from the start when I unboxed it. It is very strong, it has worked well for low speed trolling. At the same time, it is sensitive enough that I can see nibbles from sunfish. The rod is very light yet well balanced, and I am able to cast larger baits much further than with my other rods.

I really like this rod. It was packaged well in a sturdy cardboard tube and arrived in perfect condition. I got the 6'6" Moderate Fast Action / Medium Light Power rod and have been using it with a KastKing Speed Demon Pro 2000 Spinning Reel and 8lb monofilament. It has worked well with Jigs and Road Runners 1/8 oz. to ¼ oz., small finesse baits, and small swim baits. We have caught several Crappie and Bass on the rod. It has a great action, is very sensitive, and you can feel the slightest bite. I like the handle and it feels good in the hand. There is a cutout in the handle that allows you to place your thumb directly on the rod blank on the retrieve and provides super sensitivity. The hook clip is placed perfectly for me and is nowhere near getting in the way of my thumb when casting or reeling. Overall, this rod performs very well.My son can be hard on rods sometimes. He was checking it out with me in the house when we first got it and accidentally stuck it up into a running ceiling fan. Yikes, I was not happy about that but to my surprise it did not break and had no damage, so it has already proven to be very durable.I am a big fan of KastKing products, and I am happy to add this Royale Charge Spinning rod to my collection of KastKing rods and reels. They make high-quality gear, have reasonable prices, and have been very dependable. I have included a pic of a nice fish my son caught with the rod. Good luck and happy fishing!

The KastKing Royale Charge Spinning Rod is exactly what I was looking for in a lightweight trout pole. This thing was great on our fishing trip today. Everyone wanted a turn with my new rod and I did not want to share. I may have to get another so that I can pass that one around and have one all to myself. I purchased the 6 foot Moderately Fast Action, and Light Power Rod and it is great for the trout around this area. I am excited to try it for panfish next.The rod arrived in a protective tube and was packaged well enough that it arrived in perfect condition. It may be a little overkill on the packaging but I appreciate the extra protection and would rather have it arrive in superb shape than broken. I intend to use the tube it shipped in to transport it on my next adventures.The product design that went into this rod is excellent and it has a premium feel to it that puts it on par with many other much more expensive products. The color is vibrant and the labels and marking on the rod are very professional. This rod is easily now the most attractive one in my collection.The performance of the rod is great. I can feel the lightest bites and know that I hooked up on fish that I otherwise would have lost if I did not have such a sensitive rod. I was impressed by the amount of flex in the rod and how much strength the rod has as well. I thought my daughter was going to bend it in half with the nice trout she reeled in on it but it flexed well and she was able to land it no problem. For extra performance this rod was designed with a KastFlex IM6 Graphite Blank, Titanium Oxide LTS Ring Guides, Graphite Reel Seats, Comfortable EVA Handles and a Fighting Butt.I look forward to many years of good fishing with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good spinning rod. I am amazed at how affordable this rod is especially with how high prices are on everything these days.

-Aesthetically pleasing design-Slightly above average performance-light weight-Will get the job doneCombined product with 2000 reel and 8lb test and this is my opinionOverall i had a great time using this pole. Caught about 20 bass in one evening. I think that if you like it, you should get it, although the price may be a little high for the performance you get out of it, but it’s not too bad. It’s one of those tweener rods. It’s not gonna give you the high quality performance such as Shimano will, but it’s decent. Simply put, it’s a good product, but there are better choices out there though if you’re looking for higher performance.
