This pipette is compatible with standard pipette tips, and it is autoclavable for decontamination and sterilization. It has a compact design for storage ease, and it comes with a performance certificate and sample pipette tips. Single-channel pipettes are typically used in biotechnology research, microbiology, and chemistry applications to aspirate, transport, and dispense a small, measured volume of liquid.

Pipettes are laboratory tools for collecting, transporting, and dispensing a small amount of liquid. Sometimes called pipets, pipettors, or chemical droppers, a pipette is composed of a tube that collects the measured substance and a mechanism to aspirate and dispense the substance. Some pipettes can measure a fixed volume of liquid, others are graduated to show the volume, while others can be set to measure a volume within a range. Pipettes can aspirate and dispense liquid manually, electronically, or with a pipette filler that can be motorized. Pipettes are available in a variety of sizes and designs, offer ergonomic features for often-repeated functions, can be autoclavable for reuse, or disposable. The type of pipette used is determined by laboratory applications. Pipettes are typically used in medicine, biology, chemistry, and biotechnology for liquid handling, sampling, testing, and cell culture applications.

I needed a pipette, this was inexpensive enough to try despite very few reviews at the time.Pairs well with which I purchased at the same time. This is my first time using a pipette so I might like to see a 3 sentence instruction on how to use it, but i figured out the multiple depression levels easily enough.

If you want a pipette that gives you exactly 1000uL, this is not it!! I used a graduated cylinder to check the volume and it was measuring 1.4mL and not 1mL! I guess you get what you pay for!

Product arrived cracked. I am unsure how to report this incident for a exchange or refund, Parent company is in Italy. Have other products similar to this one and am pleased with their performance. Please contact me if you can help with this process. Thank you in advance, Denise

As described above, it was supposed to be a 250 microliter micropippetor. There were two labels on the package, one said 250 microliter, but the other said 5 microliter. the 5 was indeed more accurate, much to my disappointment. 5 microliters was no where near what I needed to pippette. I ended up returnging it and getting a different brand that was actually 250 microliters.
