We bought one of these for our youngest since brother has one and we were planning on using them to camp. They work great. Easily portable. Wish they came in adult size because they look very comfortable. Fit in our tent but we also have used it for naps at Grandma’s, when friends come over for nap time, movie camp outs in the living room, and even to sleep on in our bedroom instead of the floor. It is easy to partially fold up and stand to the side between uses.I did also discover that a fitted crib sheet fits on it for helping keep it clean!Downside is that one of the pockets got caught on something while my husband was putting it away. He said it wasn’t folding up easily so he forced it and heard a rip. (You should NOT have to force it, they fold super easily!) We also noticed on the one that is 1.5 years old, one of the “legs” is bent and now it wobbles a little. Don’t know how or when it happened.

This takes up about as much space as a folding camp chair. It's also as easy to set up. My kiddo loves it, and I don't have to worry about her falling off while she's sleeping as it dips slightly to keep her safe. One of my favorite purchases this year!

I purchased this for my granddaughter. My son and his family come from out of town and stay for two or three days. My granddaughter was so excited to use her new unicorn sleeping bag on her new cot. The cot was very nice And was perfect for her to sleep on

My 2 year old was not liking the playpen anymore so we opted to get the travel cot. Wow, what a world of difference. She took to it immediately and was well cushioned in so there was no worries about her falling out. She could still get out if she wanted to but it did take a bit of effort. It was super lightweight and folded so easily making it an ideal travel item. The best part is that you could put on the crib sheet and it fits decently. Definitely worth the purchase!

I liked this cot so much that I had to write a review, even though we had to return it. We purchased this cot for our trip to Costa Rica. Like all Joovy products, this cot was sturdy and comfortable. My daughter was so excited that she wanted to sleep on it after we took the cot out of the box. The cot is lightweight and has a convenient carrying sheath. This would have easily fit into our suitcase. The reason for the return is that I did not read the not so small print. The cot was too short for my 99% height percentile 7 year old child. My daughter slept on the cot in our living room out of sheer will. She is 54 inches, so most of her body was on the floor. If you have a small child and need a great camping cot, this is a gem!

Toddler has outgrown play pen but also cannot be trusted to not fall out of an adult bed, and most beds when traveling are full or queen so we can’t all fit in one bed together, so I got this for traveling. I debated on a cot vs a blow up mattress, and I decided on a cot so that I don’t have to worry about discovering an air leak once at our destination, and also this keeps the kid up off the ground so creepy crawlers won’t wander onto the bed. I also chose this over another one on the market because it has a little latch to lock it in place when set up, and my kid is the type to try and fold it up and get their fingers pinched. To me it looks like an uncomfortable cot. Toddlers don’t seem to care where they sleep. Mine tested it out immediately and fell asleep for a nap. I forgot to fold it up after, so my dog made herself at home on it too. When folded up it is about half the length of a play pen, a little smaller in width, about half the weight. Not sure if I’d take it with us on a flight (so much cargo to take for kids!), but it would be super easy to pack for a car trip.

I got this for my grandson for overnight visits. He is two. So far we haven’t tried it at night as he still sleeps with me but as added insurance that I can escape the extreme closeness should I need to, it’s been invaluable. Also he enjoys it for quiet time. I have no doubt that once I can rely on him not rolling out of bed it’s going to be great for nights. It’s beautifully constructed. Lightweight and easily packed away. I think it’s a great camp cot for many situations.

When I got the box I totally thought this wouldn't work. Thankfully, I gave it a shot. The packaging is heavier and longer than the cot its self, so I was pretty happy when I found that the cot packs down smaller and lighter than I assumed. The pink is delightfully bright without fear of keeping anyone up at night! The carrying strap is generous and easy to carry cross body or on your shoulder. Set up is insanely simple and quick! The pockets on the ends are super handy and already my children have filled them with favorite toys, flash light, and books. It's incredibly stable and doesn't tip when getting in or out from any area of the cot.My only complaint, or rather thing I would change, is that it is slightly short. If they were the size of say, a child's sleeping bag, it would be perfect! As it is, my 4 year old *just* fits and her sleeping bag hangs off the end by more than 5 inches.

Our 2.5-year-old son has always slept in his crib and pack & play with no inclination to climb out, so we've not bothered converting to a big boy bed. But he isn't a little guy anymore and is getting too tall to sleep in the pack & play when we travel. He does nap on a mat at school but we were a bit weary about trying to put him into a bed with no sides in a place that hasn't been childproofed. That said, we ordered the Joovy Foocot ahead of a weekend trip to visit friends and relatives. It seemed ideal - lightweight, portable, comfortable, gets the child off the hotel floor, etc. It comes in a carrying pouch with zipper and strap to sling over your arm, and it is about the size of a camping chair. Very lightweight! It easily expands and is secured with a clip, and boom! You have a cot! It is very sturdy and doesn't tip when he sits on one end of the cot. We added a foam mat on top, a pillow and his blanket and it was perfect. He was interested in the cot from the very start! We told him it was a big boy bed and he laid down on it, got tucked in and with minimal shenanigans, he slept on it the whole night. The next day we folded it up and took it to my mom's house for nap time. We were skeptical that he would actually use it because we would be leaving the room and he would have the ability to protest nap and just follow us out. But no, once we got him settled he slept for an hour and a half on it. Again, no problems that evening. We are excited about this cot, how simple it is to transport/use and how comfortable he seems when he sleeps on it. Looking forward to using it on many more trips!
