Bought the hose assembly to fill water storage and transfer tanks, in that regard, the unit is adequate. However, the hose to male fitting connection leaked from the onset; water is forced out between the hose itself and the barbed portion of the male coupler under the hose clamps. My first reaction was to tighten the clamps further, but since they are crimped connections, end-user adjustments are not possible. The hose also has an odd stickiness to it almost like it has started to de-plasticize or breakdown. Hopefully with further use the tacky feeling will disappear.

I read the reviews of leaking hoses and some not. Took a chance and ordered it anyways and it leaks badly. Too bad they don't have some quality control in place to assure they won't leak. Otherwise a great build.
