These look pretty cool and seem well made, except the laces could possibly use some work, and on a petite woman (5' 2", average weight), they fit a little big, so they slide up and down your arm and chafe against your wrists and back of your hand.For one night like Halloween, or if you can think of a solution for the chafing, it's fine, and they look great, but you couldn't wear them very long in a very active situation.If the maker could taper the edges or coat them with something, they might not rub as much, and maybe if you worked really hard with someone else helping you, you could position them higher and tighten them tighter so they don't move up and down your arm, or wear something underneath to hold them in place.My husband said they didn't bother him too much, but he has thicker arms. (We bought two pairs and wore them about the same length of time). He did say they chafed a little on him, but he said he wasn't sure how anyone could expect accessories like them to not chafe. I have a feeling he wasn't getting the same amount of movement from them being loose.If anyone comes up with a solution to stop them from sliding and chafing, please post, because I love these. :)

These look ok, but they are not real leather. Ordered the set with belts from top to bottom and they say leather, but it is a composite an that P.U. My husband noticed right off the bat.

Bracers were nice and gather a lot of attention this past weekend. The only thing that was a negative, was the quality of the laces. The ends were frayed and make it hard to lace up.

These are really good quality guantlets. My boyfriend bought these expecting them to fit him based on other customer photos so be sure to read the measurements, they do look larger in photos. They are sized for women and teens and the smaller size doesn't look right on him. Either way they are definitely worth the price and I will be wearing them in the future at the Ren Faire and Viking Festival.

These bracers are absolutely stunning! I wasn't expecting them to be so beautiful, but I tried them on once I got them and didnt want to take them off! I cant wait to use them in photoshoots eventually
